Recommended For: Any Pokemon Fan!
We are back with another Pokemon Kuji set, wow it’s been a while since we last had one, can’t believe it’s the first set this year! This set has a yum yum theme, but again the theme is just the setting for the prizes, the prize themselves is still the main thing, so let’s check them out!
For past Kuji prizes, do visit Ichiban Kuji Pokemon Full Prize Index List
Prize A (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 25th
Prize Rating:
Of course we kick things off with Pikachu! This is one of the rarer Pikachu Plush that is in sleep mode! The plush stands at 25cm tall, this one comes with a cushion base so if you wish to display it, it looks perfectly nice! Nothing bad upon pulling this, I mean it’s not an easy feat to do so!
Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut!
Prize Rating:
We have a debuting Pokemon! Slowpoke makes it’s debut here as a top prize for the Pokemon set, it looks great here, I think if you need a Slowpoke plush this is the time to do so, like they won’t come out with it in the future. Anyway the plush is 25cm long, and lies on the cushion base as well. Basically a good design for the plush in this set, 2 to go around as well, so all the best if you want to pull it!
Prize C (2 pieces)

Prize Rating:
Wow, just wow, normally the figurine prize in a Pokemon set is the one that everyone would want to get their hands on! This tray isn’t just any other tray, it comes with 2 Figurines! Pikachu and Eevee! You can use this tray to put some sweets as the theme suggest or put your stationeries or just display it, whichever you prefer. Such an appealing prize and you get 2 figurines which is a good deal! Plate is around 16cm long so definitely big enough to use, 2 to go around too, so do lookout for this prize!
Prize D (4 pieces)

Prize Rating:
Next we have Rug! This gigantic Rug is a design filled with Snorlax in the middle, surrounded by Pikachu, Eeve, Slowpoke, Galatic Ponyta, Psyduck, Mew and Jiggpuff! If you are aiming for a usable item then this is totally for you! The Rug is 59cm long, so long enough for you to display and make good use of it! What I like is that usually this kind of prize only has 3 pieces, but this time round they are giving us 4 pieces in a set! So more of us are able to pull it!
Prize E (18 pieces)

Design: 3 cups 3 plates
Distribution: 6 x 3 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Moving into the smaller prize we have cups and plates! If you pull this prize you can choose between these 2! The glass is really made of glass, it’s not a plastic cup so should be to most of your appeal, design wise we have Pikachu, Slowpoke and Galactic Ponyta, each are 9cm long. The Plates have the design similar to the Rug, just the Pokemon divided into 3 deigns, they are 17cm in diameter so not a small plate! I think if you really want something useful, pick the one that you need, or go for your favorite Pokemon! I doubt there’s a popular piece, but do ask if your favorite is available before playing!
Prize F (18 pieces)

Design: 6
Distribution: 6 x 3 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Next we have mini containers, not that mini as they are 350ml long, so you can contain quite a far bit of snacks in them! The design wise are fairly similar to the rug design and the overall layout is rather simple, nothing too fancy but at least it’s a good and usable prize, so should be worth your ticket cost.
Prize G (20 pieces)

Design: 2 long 3 small
Distribution: 5 x 4 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Moving into the towel prize, quite commonly they have both small and long towels for choice although the difference this time is not too much different. The long one is 30cm long while the small is 25cm long. Anyway the design is fairly simple too, I do think they can put more effort into this. You can use the towel as a design piece or as recommended by Bandai to put under the plates as a table cloth, anyway I also feel that they could have more designs.
Prize H (24 pieces)

Design: 8
Distribution: 8 x 3 pieces each. Blind Box.
Prize Rating:
Last prize to pull we have acrylic charms. I think it’s better compared to a rubber charm but metal charm is still preferred. Regardless design wise looks decent, at least not a copy of the Rug design; each Pokemon at least is doing something or associated with something. Charm is 5cm long including the metal charm part, so shouldn’t be too bad if you pull it.
st Prize / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 24th
Prize Rating:
If you are an Eevee fan, then the Eevee plush is also available in this theme’s design. It also lies on top of a Cushion Base and this plush is only available to the last prize! So if you want you can look for a 6- buyout or 11- with at least one other plush or 14- with the figure tray left!
This is also a double chance item, so you have a shot to win this before buying out!
Grading
Big Prize
2 Amazing Plush with a good rug and a fantastic figure tray, this is a good line of big prizes!
Small Prize
I think the small prizes for most of them could be better, like the towel and charm, even the container is a bit simpler.
Last Prize
A nice Eevee Plush
Variety of Prize
I think this set also lacks a lot of variety for the design, like as a Pokemon fan, wouldn’t you want more Pokemon to be featured!
Odds of big prizes
10 big prizes in 90 tickets, slightly better for us
Value for Money
I think you more of less will get some useful stuff from this set, so not to shabby for the value.
Collector’s Value

Overall: B-
Conclusion
Another average set but not for the wrong reason. The set looks okay and it’s like many other Kuji, it doesn’t stand out but doesn’t sucks too, I think generally the prize are pretty okay just that they could have been better, but oh well, can’t expect greatness all the time.
Odds
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to D): 10 / 90 = 11.11%, slightly lower than average
Recommendation
2 tickets for a chance at the top prize or something useful!
Collectibles?
The Real Deal:
- Prize B Slowpoke Plush: Because this is the only time that a Slowpoke plush would be out! So if you want a Pokemon Plush collection then this is a good prize to get!
- Prize C Figurine Tray: Any figure related prize item in a Pokemon set will sure hold it’s value, so if you are collecting, this is something to look out for!
Nice to have:
- Prize D Rug: I mean it’s a nice and long rug with good design, so if you happen to pull it, why not keep it and even use it!
- Prize E Plates and Glasses: They just look nice altogether and not blinded too, so just collect all the different designs if it’s possible!
Collect only if you don’t already have:
- Prize A Pikachu Plush and Eevee Plush: They have multiple previous release, so if you already have it, you can skip it!
Skippable:
- Prize F Containers, Prize G Towels, Prize H Charms: They have no collection value if you were to get all the designs, this is nothing against the prize but from a collection aspect you won’t get similar design to improve your collection in regards to this prizes, so don’t have to spend effort in getting them all, just the ones you like!
