For past Kuji Prizes, do visit Ichiban Kuji JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Full Prize List

Prize A (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 2nd!

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

We kick things off with Stone Free, the Stand for Jolyn. She looks great here and the figure this time round is Masterlise, different from her previous release! So expect great quality with good detailing and bulky figure. Even if you have her previous figure, this is a good figure to get because she is compatible with the Masterlise Jolyn that you can obtain from the Stone Ocean set. They look great altogether. The figure is 25cm tall, not a small feat, but the only complain that I have is that it’s a Unique figure, I mean there are 2 pieces of Jolyn in her set, so why can’t we have 2 Stone Free as well?

Prize B (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Next Stand we have Kiss, the Stand for Ermes, I see where this set is going, they are probably doing all the stand for the stand user featured in Stone Ocean set. Nothing bad, I think it’s good to have continuous set! This figure is also Masterlise, standing at 25cm as well, also compatible with the Masterlise Ermes from Stone Ocean Set. I think for this set you can focus on getting the Stand for the Stand User that you have or intend to get! Again unique figure, so it is a bit harder to pull!

Prize C (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I think you can see where this is all going, we have Foo Fighters next, the Stand for Foo Fighter. This figure is also Masterlise, the smallest amongst them all at 6cm tall, but quality wise doesn’t lose out to the rest! It is in its Plankton form, but I am curious why Bandai doesn’t want to give us its assembled form which is way taller, maybe to cut cost I guess? Regardless it is compatible to the Masterlise Foo Fighter from Stone Ocean set, I think this might be the cheaper figure because of the size, so don’t play too hard to get this piece. It is also unique so not that easy to pull!

Prize D (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Surprisingly, we are getting Weather Report, the Stand for Weather Report. It looks so great here and it feels like the one with the flashier pose. The figure is also Masterlise and stands at 24cm tall. It is compatible with the Masterlise Weather Report figure in the The Way to Heaven set, so a Stand User figure that is different from the other set, but regardless, you can consider getting it if you have the user Weather Report. Another unique piece, not sure why they want to make the figures so exclusive.

Prize E (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Next in line, and also the last figure in the set is Diver Down, the stand for Narciso. Another great figure that is a Masterlise, stands at 25cm tall, compatible to the Masterlise Narciso in Way to Heaven set. Great figure overall, I like this set actually because it feels so different, like a stand user is cool but not as awesome as having their stand beside them!

What I feel is a pity is that there is only 1 piece for each figure, so it’s super hard for collectors to get all of them.

Prize F (3 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

So to compensate for the lack of figures, we have 3 jumbo towel as the top prize. The design wise is nice, we have all the stand user for the stands featured in this set. It’s a visual towel, at 100cm long, so it’s for display and not for use, I think it’s nice but still doesn’t justify how this should replace 3 figures in the set, given that the ticket price are a bit steeper.

Prize G (20 pieces)

Design: 4

Distribution: 4 x 5 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Next on the small prize list we have Coasters. The coasters are one of the more useful items for a Kuji prize, I mean you will use a coaster one way or another. The design wise I feel they tried too much to be special, we have Jolyn + Jotaro, Stone Free + Star Platinum, Ermes + Foo Figher + Narciso + Weather Report and their 4 stands for the design. Feels like an outstanding list of characters but because the coaster is all black in color so it’s hard to really see the design, I mean no one will glance and think it’s a JoJo coaster, so I think that’s a missed on their end. The diameter is 7cm, so still a big enough coaster to use.

Prize H (24 pieces)

Design: 6

Distribution: 6 x 4 pieces each. Blind box.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Next we have cups and design wise, I think it’s quite decent, we have all 6 stands featured in this set and their stand user. It should look nice if you put the cups beside their figures, only issue is the blinded box, so it’s not easy to get all 6. The cups is 13cm tall, so good enough for you to use if you just need need a cup for your drink!

Prize I (28 pieces)

Design: 8

Distribution: 4 x 4 pieces each. 4 x 3 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Our last small prize, unsurprisingly we have towels. Wow why towels, for a costly ticket like this set, I do expect better prizes, but here we are. The towels felt a bit simple, like it’s the initials of all the main characters featured in this set and some of their stand user. I feel like they could come up with something more appealing. The good thing is that these towels are usable, so you can use as hand or face towel.

Last Prize / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 4th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

It’s been a while since we last had a Platinum Star figure and this is the first time that we are having a Masterlise version of him! He is 27cm tall, the tallest one here and he is compatible with any Jotaro Masterlise, there are plenty, so anyone would look good with him, but the picture features the one from Stone Ocean set. If you want this amazing stand you need to buyout. You can look for a 8- buyout or 15- with at least one figure inside!

Grading

Big Prize

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Amazing figure, just too bad we have 3 big towels inside as well.

Small Prize

Rating: 3 out of 5.

I expected better small prizes for a slightly expensive ticket cost, it’s decent but why have decent prizes when we can have good prizes right

Last Prize

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Nothing bad about a Platinum Star Masterlise!

Variety of Prize

Rating: 3 out of 5.

For a set that features stands, I think we could have more stands inside and we could have more variety of small prizes too.

Odds of big prizes

Rating: 3 out of 5.

80 tickets with 8 big prizes, decent.

Value for Money

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

I am not sure if anyone would feel too happy if they pulled a towel, the coaster might not be appealing too, they probably are playing for the figures, so value wise I don’t think it’s there.

Collector’s Value

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Overall: B

Conclusion

An average set overall. The figures are nice, I mean any Masterlise figure is always welcome here! The small prizes are not too bad as well, I hope going forward they just give us more newer characters so that means that the older ones are going to get their money worth as they won’t be out again!

Odds

Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!

Chance to get a top prize (A to E): 8 / 80 = 10%, average

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance at the top prize!

Collectibles?

The Real Deal:

  • Prize A to E + Last All Stand figures: These are pretty much your reason for playing this set, I suggest you to collect the stands for the stand users that you have, but just get all first then maybe go and get the stand users

Nice to have:

  • Prize F Jumbo Towel: The design is nice enough and there are 3 pieces in the set, so not that hard to get and if you want it because the design is nice, it’s not too expensive too.
  • Prize H Cups: These will be nice if you place them beside the stands and the stand users, but not as easy to get all 6 since they are blinded, you can pick them up at marketplace too.

Collect only if you don’t already have: NA

Skippable:

  • Prize G Coaster Prize I Towels, they are okay, good to use but not for collection, the design is jus not appealing enough to get value for collecting all.
