Prize A (2 pieces) / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: Debut
Prize Rating:
Of course we kick things off with Kamen Rider Ichigo Shin. This is the first time Ichigo has a big figure and it’s the Softvic figure like many other main riders in the past sets. He has his signature pose and the figure stands at 27cm tall and if you are collecting the main rider Softvic figures, this will be no exception! Sad that only Ichigo is featured in the set, would have love it if Nigo is in it too, but oh well there should be a next set for Nigo!
This is also a double chance prize, so if you are unable to pull Prize A, fret not, you have a second shot at it for every ticket you purchased!
Prize B (6 pieces)

Design: 6
Distribution: 6 x 1 piece each. Blind box.
Prize Rating:
We moved into the main attractions for most of the Rider Kuji fans, the Deform X mini figures! The characters are awesome, we have Ichigo and Nigo, and although they both made 2 previous appearance before, this version of them is the movie version so you might want to collect them as well! The other characters we have Kumo. Koumori and 2 Shocker Members, they all made their debut here.
Very nice figures, each comes with a base with their name on it, 7cm as usual but the sad thing is that there is only 1 piece of each in a set, like seriously, is it so hard to get a mini figure nowadays? So collection wise will be very painful for your wallet since they are hard to get and the prize is blinded. Hope we get more quantities of mini figures in the future.
Prize C (24 pieces)

Design: 8
Distribution: 8 x 3 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Moving into the small prizes we have illustration sheet with designs adapted from the movie scenes and the movie poster. You have the Riders, the humans and the monsters as well as the movie poster art to choose from. The Board itself is good quality and B4 in size so nothing too bad for a Kuji prize, it is consistent with previous illustration sheet released, so you can keep them all together. The rider should be the popular ones, so do play early to choose.
Prize D (24 pieces)

Design: 8
Distribution: 8 x 3 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Next up we have art board. The design wise we have both Riders and the main villains in the movie as well as Cyclone Bike inside. The art is gorgeous, it’s different from the illustration sheet where you get a movie scene, this one looks like it’s painted by the artist and it sure looks awesome, once again, do play early to choose the design, I believe the Ichigo with Cyclone design will be picked first, so once again do play early to choose.
Prize E (24 pieces)

Design: 10
Distribution: 4 x 3 pieces each. 6 x 2 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Lastly in the small prize list we have coasters. The coasters look great, we have the Rider and Cyclone design along with various Shocker logo and the Kamen Rider logo as well. They all look great and if you want to get certain designs you need to play early as well. The rider designs probably will be picked first.
Last Prize

Prize Rating:
If you are unable to pull Prize A, which is not an easy feat, you can consider the Last Prize which is Softvic Kamen Rider Ichigo but with lighted eye variant! This figure required batteries (included) and i if you are into lighted eyes figure, this would be a good figure to add to your collection! You can look for a 8- buyout, hopefully there is at least 1 mini figure still inside!
Grading
Big Prize
A softvic figure is nothing bad!
Small Prize
We have good small prizes to attract casual fans and also mini figures for collectors.
Last Prize
Another softvic figure ain’t bad!
Variety of Prize
Pretty standard prizes, I do hope they include more things or even more big prizes.
Odds of big prizes
80 tickets and 2 big prizes, seriously this is nuts.
Value for Money
You will get a good product related to the movie for the ticket that you paid, so value wise it’s decent.
Collector’s Value
Overall: B-
Conclusion
A decent Kuji set that celebrates the Shin Kamen Rider movie releases. The figure prize are great, the small prizes are not too bad, the only issue is the limited mini figures which can be frustrating to collect since they are so hard to pull. No Nigo Softvic as well, which is a miss, they could totally include him in this set. I think Kuji is getting impacted by the lack of big or figurine prizes, things are still bearable but no longer great, hope things improve soon.
Odds
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A): 2 / 80 = 2.5%, very very bad
Chance to get a figure Prize (A or B): 8/80 = 10% decent
Recommendation
2 tickets to show the support and hope that you pull a figure.
Collectibles?
The Real Deal:
- Prize A or Last Ichigo Softvic figure: you will need this if you are collecting the main series Softvic riders, and I doubt Ichigo will be out again next time, so a perfect time to get this.
- Prize B Deform X Figures: If you like the villains of the series, do get them from this set as well.
Nice to have:
- Prize C Illustration Sheet: since the visual sheet has similar consistent to previous series, you can consider getting all 8, of course don’t play tickets just for them, but they should be cheap enough in the second hand market for all 8. You can also hope to get some for free if you purchased from second hand market.
- Prize D Art Board: this is a thing of beauty so getting all 8 looks good and they showcase the characters in the movie, again don’t overspend on them, they shouldn’t be too expensive.
Collect only if you don’t already have:
- Prize B Deform X Figures: Ichigo and Nigo isn’t their first time appearing in a Kuji set, so you might already have their figures, nothing bad pulling them again, but if you prefer their classic outfit, you can skip this version of them!
Skippable:
- Prize E Coaster: Nice item to use, but no need to collect all unless you are really a Shocker fan.

Amazing
Great blog post! I appreciated the detailed breakdown of the different prizes and ratings, it helped me understand the value of each. I am curious, do you know why they only included Ichigo in the Softvic figure and not Nigo? Is there any information about a future set that might include him?

Hi Johanna, thanks for reading! After observing Bandai for several years, the reason why this set only has Ichigo and not Nigo for the Softvic could be potentially because they wanted to have a future set to have Nigo as the top prize, this allows them to milk the movie franchise a little longer, the second reason could be because Nigo’s popularity is not as good as Ichigo, therefore they might not ever want to do a Nigo Softvic, it does cost extra to design and manufacture a second figurine, Bandai has records of not completing a product line if it fails to generate profit. It’s still too early to speculate too much, we can only wait for now.
