Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.
Series Sequel: 14th Slime Kuji, first in 2023!
We are back with another Slime Kuji! It’s a bit fast as we previously had another Slime Kuji back in Dec 2022, but that was movie focus set, this one will have the school theme and also the second Private Tempest set! Let’s see what they have for us!
For past Kuji prizes, do visit That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Ichiban Kuji Prize Index List
Prize A (2 pieces) / Double Chance
Top Prize Appearance: 16th
Kicking things off is none other than Rimuru and similarly to the Private Tempest I set, the setting is a high school but he is dressed as a high school student instead for this set! Very good looking figure, he is 16cm tall and he holds a briefcase that has a slime charm on it which is the key attraction for the figure! 2 to go around!
He is also a double chance prize, so if you can’t pull him, do check your results first before playing more tickets!
Prize B (2 pieces)
Top Prize Appearance: 6th
This is the first time Milim actually appears in a Private Tempest set and she also dons on the high school student uniform for the first time! She looks adorable here and I think you will want to get her as well even if you have the previous versions of her figure! She is 14.5cm tall and also holds the briefcase with slime charm!
Prize C (2 pieces)
Top Prize Appearance: Debut!
I am always a fan of debuting characters! Shuna makes her debut here in Slime Kuji and she looks adorable and attractive! She also wears the high school uniform and also holds a bag with Slime Charm, I think the Slime really makes the overall figure more attractive! If you are getting her for your collection, you might want Rimuru and Milim as well so they look good together in the same outfit! She is 16cm tall.
Prize D (2 pieces)
To make up for the missing figures in the top prizes, since there are only 6 of them, we are given a large acrylic stand in the top prize for this set. The acrylic stand is nice, it features the main characters in the school setting and the art is just gorgeous! The stand is 20cm long too so definitely not a small prize. Just hope they have more figures, not saying this is a bad prize, but it shouldn’t have replaced any figures.
Prize E (26 pieces)
Distribution: 6 x 3 pieces each. 2 x 4 pieces each.
In the small prize section, we kick things off with art board. The art board is the standard Kuji art board being featured by many other Kuji set and the same one that Slime Kuji has used for the past Kuji! It is not blinded so you can pick your favorite! We have the main characters being featured and one with 3 of the top prizes featured and 2 Rimuru designs. Not a bad prize, just hope there are more designs since they have given us 26 of these in a set.
Prize F (18 pieces)
Distribution: 6 x 3 pieces each.
Folder set seems to be quite common for any Kuji set and most fans are probably sick of them, the Folders in this set proves to be something else as their design is terrific! In each prize you get 2 folders, either 2 characters or 1 character and 1 group shot from a scene in the anime and they are done pretty well! I feel like the art will make people not feel too sad upon pulling them. Definitely put in a lot of work for this, this should be how Kuji small prizes should go!
Prize G (28 pieces)
Distribution: 14 x 2 pieces each. Blind box.
Lastly we have rubber charms and what is so good about them is that the theme and the design is very different from past set! In the past all the charms seem to have the same format which after a while some fans might have felt exhausted, but this is a new design, each has a character and a distinctive background! We have variety of characters too not just Rimuru!
If you want to get a Rimuru figure or a female Rimuru figure in the set, this is the only way to do so! The figure is 16cm tall and it’s a gender different variant compared to Prize A! If you want to buyout, you can look for a 8- buyout or 15- with at least one other figures inside!
The acrylic stand does affect the overall appeal of big prizes but luckily the figures are still good looking so the rating isn’t too affected.
Small prizes are generally nice with some of them better than most Kuji set.
A figure is never a bad thing.
Variety of Prize
Very standard prizes and not enough designs for some of them so they can feel very repetitive to buyers.
Odds of big prizes
8 top prizes for 80 tickets, pretty solid.
Value for Money
You have a chance to get a folder or charms more often, and they look nice, so your value isn’t too bad for this set.
A solid Slime set and I think the prizes are fairly decent, I do miss the days where Slime Kuji gave a better set of prizes like booklet or CD or even plush and mini figures. Hope those items come back soon. Regardless I hope they do have more attractive prizes to sustain everyone’s interest!
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to C): 6 / 80 = 7.5%, lower than average
Chance to get a figure prize (A to D): 8 / 80 = 10%, average
3 tickets for a chance at the figures.
The Real Deal: Shuna is definitely the most in the set for collector as she is the debuting character!
Nice to have: The acrylic stand is nice, but no need to go your way to have it. Same can be said for folder set, but they are easier to get, maybe play a few and collect the rest of the design from someone else! Milim doesn’t have a private tempest set in the past so if you need a room of students, Milim is one of them!
Collect only if you don’t already have: Rimuru (A and Last) are not new, not even to Private Tempest set, so no obligation to collect unless you want to get either or both of them!
Skippable: Charms, because they are hard to collect and they don’t have a full set value. Art Board as well as they are easy to collect and their design isn’t too special to attract collection.
