Series Sequel: 1st Tom and Jerry Ichiban Kuji set!
It’s time for Tom and Jerry and I am always fond of these 2 since young, there has been other Kuji that showcase Tom and Jerry, but this is the first time that it is featured as Ichiban Kuji! I am excited to see how Tom and Jerry is being featured by one of top Kuji brands!
Prize A (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut
Prize Rating:
What a good way to start off a debuting series! We have a very good looking Tom and Jerry figure! It’s both of them resting a cushions but main importantly this is a figure prize! Most debuting set always have non figure prize items leading the top prize spot, so glad that we are actually getting something solid and attractive, if you want to play this set, this is definitely the item to look out for! Figure stands at 14cm tall!
Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut
Prize Rating:
If you are unable to pull this figure and you got this, count yourself lucky as this is also a top prize and also as rare! The plush is 30cm tall, quite standard for a plush size and both Tom and Jerry are featured. Not the best plush one could find but for the ticket that you are paying it’s pretty good and adorable as well, nothing bad for pulling it!
Prize C (3 pieces)

Prize Rating:
Next on the top prize section we have Blanket and the design looks cute, it mainly feature Jerry and some funny variant of Tom as well as Nibbles. The blanket is 100cm long, so big enough for you to use when you are sitting on the couch and enjoying your show. 3 to go around, at least they try to give more quality of this so more people will get their money worth if they pull this!
Prize D (10 pieces)

Design: 5
Distribution: 5 x 2 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Moving onto the small prize section and we have very good looking plates to kick things off! There are 2 round plates which feature Tom and Jerry, they are 10cm in diameter. There are also 3 rectangle plates that feature funny adventures of the duo as well as Nibbles, they are also 10cm long. Nothing bad at all, the plates are actually not easy to pull and if you do pull it, count yourself lucky! If you want the round plates, do play early as I think those are the more popular design!
Prize E (23 pieces)

Design: 8
Distribution: 3 x 7 pieces each. 1 x 2 pieces.
Prize Rating:
We cannot escape the wrath of the towels, so let’s try to enjoy it. The design are not bad, we have a few Tom and Jerry design with very distinctive layouts. We have one non square shaped Nibbles design which looks adorable as well. There are also designs of the duo in the cartoon. Generally the art is fine, not too bad, just that everyone will not be expecting.
Prize F (30 pieces)

Design: 10
Distribution: 10 x 3 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Lastly we have charms and they look adorable. I am glad that it is not blinded so you can get all the different designs as you play more tickets. The design varies from them in funny poses to their daily adventures and also Nibbles in his very adorable poses. Not bad for the prize that is flooding the set, and you have a chance to get all different designs even if you were to get a lot of charms.
Last Prize

Prize Rating:
The last prize is a unique prize! We have Jerry lying on top of a toast, which is a cushion! If you are a Jerry fan and you want an item that just feature him, this would be the prize to lookout for. Cushion is 40cm tall! You will need buyout, which you can look for a 6- buyout or 12- with at least one top prize inside and hopefully some plates!
Grading
Big Prize
Overall quite solid, just not perfect as everyone will be gunning for the figure and the other 2 top prizes might not be attractive enough to get people to play this set.
Small Prize
A series of decent small prizes, could get worse.
Last Prize
A plush or cushion for last prize won’t drive a high buyout rate, but it’s adorable enough to get someone to buyout for this.
Variety of Prize
The number of prizes is a bit small, hope it’s because it’s the first and they don’t want to overcommit, more would have a better wow prizes .
Odds of big prizes
Standard 7 top prizes in a 70 tickets set.
Value for Money
You have a chance to get a towel or charm, seems like not a lot of things cover the charm or towel, so many will not see too much value for a ticket.
Collector’s Value
See below for breakdown.
Overall: B-
Conclusion
A solid set, the figures and plates saved this set from being a mediocre set. The number of different prizes also make up for the lack of figures in the set, generally I think the distribution is not the best, but we do get quality stuff out of it.
Odds
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to C): 7 / 70 = 10%, average
Recommendation
3 tickets for a chance at the figures!
Collectibles?
The Real Deal: The figurine is definitely a must, I mean it’s Tom and Jerry and with this piece you don’t have to be too aggressive in the next one since you already have a figure!
Nice to have: The plush, cushion and blanket are nice item that you won’t find it easy to collect, just get them if you have the chance and it will retain the value. The plates are really nice too, just get the Tom and Jerry design but easier said than that so if you can’t don’t overspend to get it!
Collect only if you don’t already have: NA
Skippable: The rubber charm and towels might be nice, but I don’t see collection value for these.
