Series Sequel: 15th Demon Slayer Kuji, first in 2023.
It’s time for another Demon Slayer set and the previous time when we had a demon swell set, it was a good set so hope they continue the trend here! Without further ado, let’s dive into the prizes!
For past Kuji prizes, do vist Demon Slayer Ichiban Kuji Prize Index List
Prize A (2 pieces) / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 5th
Prize Rating:
We have consecutive sets that features Tengen, I think he is the more popular character for most of the fans. The figure this time round is the standard Kuji figure, however it does have the theme that previous Demon Slayer figures had, which comes with a triangle base and a nametag on the side! Tengen looks great here, it’s the first figure where he actually has an effect part and the ring effect sure looks good! Figure stands at 15cm tall. 2 pieces to go around as well, so not bad for those who want this!
You can also hope for a double chance win, so do check your result before buying or pulling another ticket!
Prize B (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 5th
Prize Rating:
Zenitsu also makes another appearance here and this is the first time his figure is dressed as Zenko! It’s also the first time we see him in a triangle base! It’s also the first time we see his figure has an effect, lightning effect to be precise! Definitely looks great and even if you already collected past Zenitsu figure, you can consider getting this as well for the Zenko design or the base. Sadly that there’s only 1 figure for him, would have preferred more to go around. Figure stands at 13cm tall.
Prize C (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 2nd
Prize Rating:
Daki returns again and this time round she is in her demon form. The previous figure is the same pose but in her human disguise but if you are hardcore fan, you can get this form as well! She also comes with the triangle base and the nametag. Again there’s only 1 of her figure in the set, not sure why is this the distribution, so it’s gonna be a bit harder to pull her. Her figure is 17cm tall.
Prize D (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut!
Prize Rating:
Oh yeah, we have a Debuting character after a long while! Gyutaro makes his debut in Demon Slayer Kuji and he looks absolutely stunning. His figure also has the triangle base and the nametag, he is also armed with his Scythe and has effect as well! If you have been collecting all the characters, you would need to get him as well! Once again, not sure why is there only one of him in this set, I miss the days where each figure would have 2 pieces each. His figure stands are 12cm tall.
Prize E (1 piece)

Prize Rating:
Replacing the figures we have Acrylic Board, this design features Tengen and he looks good. The size is B5 so not small at all, but compare to a figure, this does feels like we are being shortchanged with prizes. The acrylic board has a stand at the back for your to display it, although I think the size could be bigger and the design could be way nicer if they really want to put it in the top prize category.
Prize F (2 pieces)

Prize Rating:
Next is another Acrylic Board, which also took the spot of a top prize and we have Rengoku design! It’s been a while since we last had a Rengoku top prize item so great to see him again. B5 in size and 2 pieces to go around for more fans, again, I think the design could be way nicer, I seen better designs before, so this does feels like they are slacking a bit. Regardless, they could have provided worse prizes, so I shall accept this for the time being.
Prize G (17 pieces)

Design: 7
Distribution: 3 x 3 pieces each. 4 x 2 pieces each. Blind box.
Prize Rating:
If you have been collecting the Plates from the Hashira set, then you are in luck because the next 7 designs can be found in this set! We have Zenitsu, Innosuke, Mitsuri, Muichiro, Gyomei, Obanai and Sanemi, which didn’t appear in the previous set and they appeared here! So with these 7 and the previous 7, you will collect all the main characters and Hashira design for the plates! They do look amazing, the design is consistent and adorable, it’s not a small plate, it’s 12cm in diameter so definitely getting your money worth!
Prize H (25 pieces)

Design: 17
Distribution: 8 x 2 pieces each. 9 x 1 piece each. Blind box.
Prize Rating:
Next we have rubber charm and the design is nice, we have the main characters as well as the 9 Hashira and 3 mystery character which I am guessing would be Gyutaro, Daki and Muzan, correct me if I am wrong. The designs are consistent and no more adorable design for charms, the characters looks serious and if you prefer the serious look, this design is meant for you!
Prize I (30 pieces)

Design: 21
Distribution: 9 x 2 pieces each. 12 x 1 piece each.
Prize Rating:
Lastly we have art board and they are amazing. The designs are obtained from the anime scenes with the main character getting 1 to 2 design each, with the exception of Tengen, who has 7 designs for some reason, they are 13.5cm long, definitely not small and you can choose! You can just pick your favorite and I supposed you would be spoilt for choices if you don’t have a favorite!
Last Prize

Prize Rating:
For those who fail to pull Prize A or win the double chance but you still want a Tengen with a Ring effect figure, you can consider a buyout! The figure is exactly the set with the exception that it has a red ring effect instead of a blue one! If you prefer this variant then buyout is a way to go! You can look for a 8- buyout, hopefully with some plates inside or 14- with at least one figure inside!
Grading
Big Prize
With a mixture of figures and Acrylic Board, the appeal for top prizes will not be the same as compared to a set with all figures as top prizes, however, the top prizes are still nice enough to score a 4 star.
Small Prize
Standard prize for small prizes, quality are nice and items are special enough for one not to feel too bad upon pulling them.
Last Prize
A Tengen figure is never bad thing if I were to buy out.
Variety of Prize
Seriously we have so many different prizes, from figures to art board to plates and to charms, the designs are a lot too, you have 45 different small prizes design, that’s insane!
Odds of big prizes
Standard 8 top prizes in a 80 tickets set.
Value for Money
Generally you should get your money worth, but not very worth, you will likely get a charm or art board, which is fine for a Kuji standard but you have a chance to get an amazing plate or figure as well!
Collector’s Value
See below for breakdown.
Overall: B
Conclusion
A solid set, the figures and plates saved this set from being a mediocre set. The number of different prizes also make up for the lack of figures in the set, generally I think the distribution is not the best, but we do get quality stuff out of it.
Odds
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to F): 8 / 80 = 10%, average
Chance to get a figure prize (A to D): 5/ 80 = 6.25%, lower than average
Recommendation
3 tickets for a chance at the figures or plates!
Collectibles?
The Real Deal: Gyutaro is definitely a must to collect for collectors! Zenitsu as well as I think they might release Sumiko and Inoko soon, so good to get your hands on that figure! The plates are nice too and if you want to collect you will need the 7 from the Hashira set, recommended to get all 14 designs, it’s a good quality small prizes to keep.
Nice to have: The Art Board may not be a top prize that everyone wanted, but if it’s a normal prize, it’s actually not that bad, it’s nice to display and if you pull it, it’s good to keep it.
Collect only if you don’t already have: Tengen and Daki have previous releases, but they do offer extra effect part and different form respectively, if you are a hardcore collector then do get them, if not get them only if you don’t have their previous versions!
Skippable: The art board and charms are nice, but no need to collect all designs, the variety just makes it hard for you to get repeats if you keep pulling it, but you don’t have to collect all the designs!
