Prize A (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 2nd as Adult form

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Gohan does have the Goku resemblance doesn’t he. This is the 2nd time we are seeing his adult non Super Saiyan form in Kuji, which is rare for a character like Gohan! So if you didn’t get the previous version, this would be a good one to get! This version is a Masterlise, so expect good quality and bulky and heavy figure. He stands at 25cm tall, he has his glasses and pose, unlike his previous version, so fans of Gohan might want this regardless! He is a unique prize in the set, so nothing bad for pulling it!

Prize B (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 6th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Piccolo is next, he is Masterlise too and he stands at 19cm tall. He is shorter not because of the inconsistency in sizes, but because he is not standing straight up. He is a nice figure to have, just that this pose is almost similar to the previous one in vs Omnibus Ultra, only differences are the eyes expression and right arm pose. So for collectors, he is not an necessity, those who needed a Piccolo can aim for this nonetheless. Still it’s a figure and a unique prize, so nothing too bad.

Prize C (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 17th as Super Saiyan Gold

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Of course we will feature a Goku in the set, this is not the first time Goku is featured in his Super Saiyan Gold, however, it’s the first figure of him in Super Saiyan Gold form in Saiyan Armor! With that difference, he looks different from his previous releases! So fan of Goku or just any Dragon Ball fan wouldn’t feel bad for pulling this piece! They could totally have given us turtle school uniform again! The figure is also Masterlise and stands 25cm tall.

Prize D (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 9th as Super Saiyan Gold.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

We have another Gohan again, this time is him in Super Saiyan Gold. What makes him unique is that this is the first time he makes his figure appearance in his Super Saiyan Gold and wearing the Saiyan Armor! Gohan is also in his youth, so he looks very nice next to Prize C Goku! The figure is smaller in size at 15cm tall but there are 2 pieces of him in a set, so more to go around!

Prize E (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 8th, debut in Mecha form.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Next we have Frieza and a character that the fans love to hate. He debuts in his Future Form, so even if you have his previous releases, this is a good version to keep as well! The figure is also Masterlise and stands 19cm tall, like most other figure, this is a unique piece, so nothing bad upon pulling it!

Prize F (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut

Prize Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

We have a debuting character! King Cold makes his debut here in Dragon Ball Kuji and he looks absolutely astonishing! The figure is Masterlise and stands at 26cm, and he is also one of the bigger figure in the set. For new and existing collector, this is definitely the piece that you would want to get your hands on!

Prize G (2 pieces)

Design: 2

Distribution: 2 x 1 piece each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

As you can count, the total number of figures is 7, 1 lesser than usual, which is why Bandai is replacing them with 2 big acrylic stand. They are nice, and I would call them consolation prizes, if big prizes seems lackluster for you. The designs are nice, they are not blinded, so if you pull this early you will be able to choose your favorite! They are 20cm long, so it’s big enough for you to appreciate!

Prize H (16 pieces)

Design: 8

Distribution: 8 x 2 pieces each. Blind packs.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Next we have Acrylic stand and to be frank, we don’t usually get good Dragon Ball prizes so it’s nice that they are giving us something good! The acrylic stand features some of the classic art or scenes from the old anime. They are 7cm tall, not too bad and the rarer small prizes so I wouldn’t say no if these were my small prizes that I pull!

Prize I (24 pieces)

Design: 6

Distribution: 6 x 4 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Up next we have visual sheet, the designs are amazing, we have several scenes from the anime, some manga cover art and 2 designs of group picture featuring almost the entire Dragon Ball characters! I think most of the fans have issue with A3 Illustration Sheet, so they have shrunk down to B4 size this time round, the quality stays the same, so nothing bad as well. I just hope they have more designs.

Prize J (31 pieces)

Design: 4 small, 4 long

Distribution: 1 x 3 pieces. 7 x 4 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Dragon Ball has one of the least attracting towels, they are usually simple designs of characters from the top prizes, nothing too bad, just a bit plain and nothing too attractive, but I guessed they figured that people aren’t out here for the small prizes, so they don’t even bother with the designs.

Last Prize / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 4th, debut as Complete Form!

Prize Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Cell is one of the hottest figure that everyone wants to get their hands on, and the complete form is no different! The figure is also Masterlise and stands at 27cm tall and it’s bigger than the others! I think many are looking for a buyout, so if you are one of them, you can look for a 25- buyout or 30- with at least one other figure inside!

This is a double chance prize! So do check your luck, who knows you might be able to get this amazing figure!

Conclusion

Dragon Ball usually have a solid set because of the variety and quality of figures and some attractive small prizes. This set is no different, we have a couple of great characters to lookout for and some nice small prizes as well, I think if they keep up with the momentum we should be able to get consistently solid set for Dragon Ball!

Odds

Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!

Chance to get a figure prize (A to F): 7 / 80 = 8.75%, slightly lower than average

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance at a figure, hopefully a King Cold, or buyout for Cell!

Collectibles?

The Real Deal: King Cold and Cell Complete Form, not only are they popular but they are also a good value for their figure quality and size! So do lookout for a good odds to get King Cold and a good buyout to get Cell Complete Form!

Nice to have: Gohan in glasses, Goku and Gohan Super Saiyan Gold, Mecha Frieza are figures that have past releases but the forms they have in this set is really nice and you can consider hunting and keeping them if you have a chance to! I doubt those forms will be out again, so if you fancy them, do buy or pull them!

Collect only if you don’t already have: Piccolo has several past release, so if you have the previous releases you don’t need this one!

Skippable: Dragon Ball small prizes are nice, but lacks the collectability. However, you can get the designs you fancy, just don’t have to go all the way to get a set of any small prizes.
