Series Sequel: 26th My Hero Academia Kuji, 8th in 2022

This year is definitely the year for MHA! They have come up with so many different Kuji and the recent season just hype things up! More set is great as long as the prizes are nice, so let’s see what they have for us!

For past Kuji prizes, do check out My Hero Academia Ichiban Kuji Prize Index List

Prize A (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 17th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Of course we get another Midoriya but he has been the star of the season so far, he has recently unlock his new Quirk so nice to see him in a different pose! The figures this time round are the smaller ones, it is 15cm tall but he has his black whip as well as I think his flight mode as well, so good figure to pull, but if you can’t, nothing important to miss out. He is a rare figure though, so nothing bad for pulling!

Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 17th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Next we have Bakugo as expected, and this pose if him using his quirk while in the air which looks super nice. The figure is 16cm tall and 2 pieces to go around, I believe more people would like Bakugo than Midoriya so that explains. A good figure to pull as well, but if you have past series Bakugo then not obligated to get this.

Prize C (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 11th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Shoto is back again, he hasn’t been seen for a while, so great to see him back again. His pose is a little different as well, with the Ice Base and the Fire effect. Again, very nice figure, not needed if you already have past ones but nothing bad if you pull it! Figure stands at 16cm tall as well.

Prize D (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 5th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Endeavour is one fire, no pun intended haha. He is always a nice figure to have because of the fire effect. The recent set has him in a fire punching pose, this time round, he is in full fire. Another good figure to get, even if you have the past series one, you can see if you prefer this pose to those before! Figure stands at 17cm tall.

Prize E (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 3rd

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

The figure that everyone is looking for in the set! Shigaraki makes him 3rd appearance here but this is the first time he is in he All for One form and he looks absolutely gorgeous with the cape and white hair. No fancy pose just a sinister look and ready to fight, I would want to get my hands on this. Figure stands at 17cm tall.

Prize F (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 3rd

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Last figure in the set, we have Dabi and he looks good as well. Dabi doesn’t have a lot of fancy pose because of his character so if you have the previous version you wouldn’t need this one but that doesn’t change the fact that he lools great here. Figure stands at 16cm tall.

Prize G (24 pieces)

Design: 10

Distribution: 4 x 3 pieces each. 6 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

We move into the small prize list and we kick things off with Long Towels. Okay they are giving nice long towels so I shan’t complain. The design features the Heroes, each with their character and their logo so very nice design, so far the design doesn’t seem to be a continuation of previous ones and unlikely to have continuation after this, so just pick the ones you like!

Prize H (24 pieces)

Design: 20

Distribution: 4 x 2 pieces each. 16 x 1 piece each. Blind packs.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Next we have Acrylic stand and if you have collected the Acrylic stand from the Top 5 set, you will find that these are the same pattern from that series! The only different is that the design here featured all 20 Class 1 A students! If you want to collect, just try to get all 20 or hope you get your favorites!

Prize I (24 pieces)

Design: 12

Distribution: 12 x 2 pieces each. Blind packs.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Last small prize in the list we have Rubber charms. They look nice, we have a mixture of Class 1A and 1B character and what surprise me is that there are no Midoriya and Bakugo! Wow so they really feature the other students, I think that might be an issue if people are not into the characters, but it’s blinded so I think you will be able to cover some cost if you sell or trade them away.

Last Prize / Double Chance

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

MHA is used to having the shiny variant as their last prize so this is no different. We have Prize A Midoriya in shiny variant so nothing bad, if you didn’t pull Prize A and you want to get that pose, you can try for a buyout. You can look for a 7- buyout or 12- with at least one other figure inside!

You will also be able to win this via double chance!

Conclusion

Another nice and solid MHA set. This set has a lot of characters that has appeared in the past so it’s more of a set to keep up the hype of the anime. You don’t have to play a lot of tickets to get everything if you already have a good collection of figures. Just play a few to try your luck and move on with it! The acrylic stands are a nice add on to your collection and the other small prizes aren’t too bad.

Odds

Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!

Chance to get a figure prize (A to H): 8 / 80 =10%, average

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance at the figure!

Collectibles?

The Real Deal: Shigaraki is the figure to look out for, even if you have the previous version of him, this one is his white hair form so you might want to consider adding him into your collection!

Nice to have: The acrylic stand collection are nice, I mean if you have the previous 20 acrylic stand from the top 5 set, why not get these 20 as well, they have the same layout so will look nice altogether.

Collect only if you don’t already have: Midoriya, Bakugo, Shota, Endeavour and Dabi are all nice figures, but they don’t have much difference from previous versions, so if you can’t get them, no biggie, no need to spend effort to get them. That being said, it’s also a good point to start for new collector!

Skippable: The towels and charms are nice, but no need to collect all designs since they are probably only featured in this set.
