The year is about to end but not without another Ultraman Kuji! So this Kuji is amazing, it is the 2nd SH Figuarts Kuji and last year featured some Kamen Rider, this year we have the Ultramans! So without further ado, let’s see what they have for us!
Prize A (2 pieces) / Double Chance

The first SH Figuarts we have is Ultraman Trigger Multi Type! So the figures for this set aren’t exclusive, I mean the variant are exclusive but if you just want to get the original color, it’s available in retail stores! Trigger is definitely a catch here, it has a translucent body compared to it’s original retail release and the gold parts definitely shines here! Figure stands at 15cm tall, it’s SH Figuarts so it’s a moveable figure!
It’s a double chance prize! So you have another chance to win this!

Next we have SH Figuarts Ultraman Z Alpha Edge and if you watch the recent Ultraman then you will like this as well! He also has the translucent body compared to the retail release and very nice figure overall. 15cm as well and nothing bad upon pulling it!

If you prefer one of the OG Ultraman then this prize will be more suited to you! We have SH Figuarts UltraSeven! He looks great here, no fancy costume just a good old design! The body is translucent as well compared to the original release and definitely one of the favorites for the older collectors! This is also 15cm tall.

How can you have an Ultraman set without the Monsters! SH Figuarts Alien Baltan is next and this is the figure that stands out the most when compared to the original figure! The whole body is translucent! How amazing! If you have the original one you probably don’t mind getting this as well! Anyway even if you limit your collection to this Kuji, you will need a monster for the Ultraman to fight with! Figure is slightly taller at 16cm.

Next we have towels, and normally I am not a big fan of this prize but wow the designs are really good! For starter, they provided a long towel instead and a lot of variety of designs: We have Decker for the new fans, Trigger era, Geed/Zero, Gaia/Dyna/Tiga, Ultraman, UltraSeven, Monsters and SHF design. All looks great and regardless which era of Ultraman you prefer, there is a design for you! Even if you don’t pull the top prizes, this one gives you a design you like!

Next we have Visual Sheet, similar to the ones they release for Kamen Rider! We have Ultraman of different era in different pose and what is interesting is that the art is made from SH Figuarts! So definitely nice and it’s B4 in size so it’s big as well! Again similar to the towel, the design are nice enough for you to appreciate so you don’t go home feeling sad or anything!

Last design we have coasters, and they look good too! We have a variety of design and logo, at least they featured the ones in the set and a retro Ultraman design and some of the team logo. There is also one for SH Figuarts. Nice enough prize, at least it’s a usable one so nothing too bad!

If you did not manage to pull Prize B, you can buyout instead! The figure is also SH Figuarts Ultraman Z Alpha Edge but it has the glitter on the translucent parts! Depending on your preference, you might choose B over Last, vice versa, but having a variant as the Last Prize gives you more option for your buying strategy! You can look for a 9- buyout or 15- with at least 1 other figure inside!

Conclusion
For a SH Figuarts and an Ultraman Kuji, I think this set is pretty decent. I do hope they have more variety of Ultraman or make some exclusive characters as one of the prizes, but I think generally it’s a fun Kuji to play, especially the small prizes are appealing and target Ultraman fans of different generation! Hope this is one the last SH Figuarts set for Ultraman!

The Real Deal: –
Nice to have: Since all the SH Figuarts are not exclusive to this set, you probably already posses the original color version in your retail store, so the SH Figuarts from this set serves as your alternate color collection! Nice to have but don’t go too crazy to get them!
Collect only if you don’t already have: That being said, the figures can also be your replacement to the original color versions, so if you pull the ones here you can save some money for the original versions! Again that is if you are okay with the translucent variant!
Skippable: The small prizes are nice, but they are not a good collector’s item, I don’t think they will have more designs in upcoming sets, so just pick your preferred design and keep those!
