Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.
Series Sequel: 40th Nyanko Sensei Kuji set! 4th in 2022!
Nyanko Sensei is back once again and I am usually very excited about this Kuji as this is one of the few Kuji set where the prizes are rather attractive! The theme here is detective so definitely will feel different. I am so excited to review this, let’s get down to the prizes!
Prize A (2 pieces) / Double Chance
Amazing way to start off the Kuji because we don’t see figures appearing often for Nyanko Sensei Kuji! We have Takashi and Nyanko Sensei figure and they both dressed as a detective! I believe this is the prize that everyone is looking for and you will want to keep this if you are a Nyanko Sensei fan! The figure stands 16cm tall and looks fantastic, glad that there are 2 pieces to go around!
Thankfully this is also a double chance prize! So you will have another chance to win this!
Prize B (2 pieces)
Prize B is usually standard, we have big plush and Nyanko Sensei is wearing a detective outfit and he looks good. Nothing bad about it, it’s not easy to pull and it’s a unique plush which is 30cm tall, so huggable and definitely worth your ticket cost!
Prize C (2 pieces)
If you are the type that prefers a usable item, then a scarf is just right for you! This prize is a long and cozy scarf that is 160cm long! You can use it in the cold season and it has the Nyanko Sensei design so if you like this color, do lookout for this prize!
Prize D (6 pieces)
Distribution: 2 x 3 pieces each.
We move into the small prize section and weirdly there is only 6 pieces of Glass to go around in the set. Probably because it’s a legit glass cup not a plastic one. Regardless, the design fits the theme, and you can choose your favorite but personally I think both of them look great! It’s a rarer prize too so don’t feel too bad for pulling it, it’s a good quality glass that is usable!
Prize E (16 pieces)
Design: 1 postcard, 1 puzzle, 2 folder set
Distribution: 4 x 4 pieces each.
This is an amazing prize! Wow the variety is awesome, so you get to pick 1 of the 4 choices when you pull this Prize:
- You can pick a Postcard that consist of 4 well designed envelope, 8 A5 Nyanko Sensei themed paper and 4 sticker!
- You can also pick a puzzle that comes with an envelope.
- Or you can choose one of the 2 A4 folder set that also comes with a sticker!
The prizes all can be relatable to a detective theme so very appealing! Whichever you pick they are all unique and they look really neat! I believe that the puzzle will be more popular follow by the envelope, so do play early to choose!
Prize F (20 pieces)
Design: 2 pouch. 3 towels.
Distribution: 4 x 5 pieces each.
Next we have another prize that has different types of prizes! So we have:
- 2 pouches with Nyanko Sensei and Riou design.
- 2 design towels with decent looking art
- A towel that is water absorbent so you can use it as a cloth or hand/face towel!
It’s quite obvious that the pouches would be chosen first so do play early to get your hands on them!
Prize G (22 pieces)
Design: 2 figure charm. 4 rubber charm.
Distribution: 2 figure charm x 3 pieces each. 4 rubber charm x 4 pieces each.
Wow this set is on fire! We are constantly getting good prizes! The charm prize we have multiple prizes to choose from as well!
- You can pick one of the 2 Nyanko Sensei Figure charm which looks absolutely adorable.
- You can also pick one of the 4 rubber charm which are not small, they are 6cm which is twice the size of the figure charm!
Lastly we have Riou plush as the Last Prize and if you like a non Nyanko Sensei plush then Riou is a good fit for you. He is also 30cm big plush and dresses like a detective. Cute plush and if you want to get this or if the buyout is good, why not get this along ! You can lookout for a 6- buyout or 12- buyout if Prize A or C is available!

Value for Money
An above average Kuji! I expect nothing less for the grading after reviewing all the prizes! All the prizes are attractive, so many variety of prizes and anyone could be spoilt for choice! Basically a glance at the set and you know that it’s a nice set and you won’t feel bad for anything you pull!
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to C): 6 / 70 = 8.57%, slightly lower than average
3 tickets for a chance at the top prize or play early and play at least 6 tickets to get at least all the different figure charm, pouch or puzzle/envelop for the small prizes!
The Real Deal: The figure is definitely a selling point for this set! You can play until you get the figure or budget at 8 tickets to get it or look for a good buyout with it or just buy from secondary market! It’s not common that a figure is release for Nyanko Sensei, so it will be a good time to get this!
Nice to have: The pouches, puzzle/envelope and figure charm are all the popular top prizes that are nice to keep as they are not going to release such prizes often, so do play early and you should get all of them with ease! The scarf is also a good prize to get for it’s usefulness and size, but don’t spend too much, I believe they will come out more scarfs in the future!
Collect only if you don’t already have: The Riou and Nyanko Sensei plush are adorable and if you like to collect them but don’t need all versions of them, this would be a good time to get either of the characters that is missing in your collection!
Skippable: The glasses are nice, but as a collector’s item, don’t have to hunt too hard for it, if you pull it that’s great, use it well, if you don’t, I don’t think you are missing out much! The towels, folder set and rubber charm as well, they are the common small prizes, so just get the design you like and no need to collect them all!
