For past Kuji prizes, do visit Ichiban Kuji Pokemon Full Prize Index List

Prize A (1 piece) / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: All debut!

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

What a great way to kick start the Scarlet and Violet era with the 3 starter! We have Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. The is an adaptation of the Sinnoh starter back in Brilliant Diamond Shiny Pearl set. The cushion is meant for you to learn on while you play your Switch! But of course use it however you like! It’s 20cm long so definitely huge and with the 3 starter in front of you, you really do get more hype playing the new game!

This is also one of the double chance prizes, so don’t worry about the rarity, you have a chance at this!

Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 24th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Of course we have another Pikachu I mean how could we not right. Pikachu, despite being released a lot of times, is still a cute Plush. It sits at 29cm long, so definitely a big and huggable plush! It also holds a cup and it’s for you to put your stationery into it! Now that’s really more appealing and it has now turn a big plush that fans might feel repetitive into a usable item suitable for any Pokemon fan!

Prize C (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 23rd

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Wow Eevee is catching up to Pikachu on the number of top prize appearance. This version of Eevee is a simple one, no costume, a wink expression. Nothing bad about it and it’s a rare piece! 27cm long so definitely big enough for you to treat it as if it’s real and you can put it closer to it so it feels like it’s leaning towards you!

Prize D (2 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Next we have the non plush top prize in the form of a Rug Blanket! Wait did I just put 2 words together? Yes I did, apparently you can use this prize as both a rug and a blanket! I mean you can use it as either, but please don’t use it a blanket directly after you use it as a rug! It’s massive at 90cm in diameter and features Pikachu, Eevee and the 3 starters! Nothing bad at all, probably will have more demand than the plush!

Prize E (4 pieces)

Design: 2

Distribution: 2 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Before moving into the small prizes, we have a consolation prize in the form of a ceramic plate! They have Scarlet and Violet color design, so very suiting to the theme and it’s a good quality plate, at 20cm long in diameter I think you really would make your money worth if you get it! So great to have such a prize included in the set!

Prize F (19 pieces)

Design: 6

Distribution: 1 x 4 pieces. 5 x 3 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

We kick things off in the small prize section with cups and they look great. It’s a 8cm tall cups so you can use it for your daily beverages. The design are nice too, not all designs feature new Pokemon so you will still see some of the familiar faces!

Prize G (16 pieces)

Design: 4 bowls. 2 utensils

Distribution: 2 x 2 pieces each. 4 x 3 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Next we have a wonderful ceramic bowl and a pair of utensils (fork and spoon). The ceramic bowl looks amazing, it has very nice color and good material, it’s 10cm in diameter so you can use it as a cereal bowl! The utensils are nice too you get a 13cm long fork and spoon, which is good for young children or if you prefer a plastic utensil then this one suits you too!

Prize H (21 pieces)

Design: 2 long 4 small.

Distribution: 3 x 3 pieces each. 3 x 4 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Lastly we have towels to close off the set. We have 3 different types of towel, the long towel which many prefer features 2 designs of a group of Pokemon, great for display. Next we have 2 smaller towel with Ditto and Psyduck at the side, this is not usable but act as a fantastic display piece as it has a nice design. If you are into usable towels, we have Pikachu/Pichu and Jigglypuff design and they are usable towels that absorbs water well so use it however you find useful!

Last Prize / Double Chance

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

The Last Prize is a special prize in the form of a pillow! It’s 55cm long so it’s good enough for you to sleep on, sit on or lean on. It also has a Pikachu plush on the top so you can sleep with Pikachu! Definitely a nice prize to have, so if you want it, do lookout for a 7- buyout or 12- with at least one top prize in it and hopefully a ceramic plate!

Conclusion

An average Kuji to kick off the new Era of Pokemon. I feel that the prizes are mainly attractive just not much of a collector’s value but it’s okay, Pokemon fans are in this for the love of the game so as long as the prizes look appealing, I think they wouldn’t mind playing a few tickets!

Odds

Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!

Chance to get a top prize (A to D): 6 / 66 = 9.09%, slightly lower than average

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance at the top prize or get some nice prizes!

Collectibles?

The Real Deal: Well I can’t say that the Starter Cushion isn’t the real deal here. So if you really like the new Pokemon you can go ahead and hunt for this amazing cushion!

Nice to have: The ceramic plate, bowel and utensils are definitely an item that is nice to have at least one design so you can use it or just display it as it looks great. As for collecting the full design, I don’t think it’s necessary. The rug blanket is also nice to have, I mean you can’t hate that prize for it’s size and multi purposes.

Collect only if you don’t already have: Both Pikachu and Eevee are repeated Plush, but if you haven’t collected any of them and would like to do so, now is a good time!

Skippable: The pillow is a good item to use, but not essential for collection so don’t have to buyout just to get it. Similar the towels and cups are nice prizes, just not collectibles as they will have many more designs to come in the future.
