Happy Kuji: Usually you get what you pull, no choosing of designs unless otherwise stated
Series Sequel: 9th Christmas Ornament Set!
Happy Kuji celebrate Christmas every year with a Disney Ornament set and this year is no different! So we will see a lot of figures that can be use as ornaments and maybe some interesting prizes along with it! So let’s dive right into the prizes!
Prize 1 to 5(27 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Max debut! Goofy 6th. The others 9th.
Design: 5
Distribution: Mickey and Minnie x 6 pieces each. The others 5 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Okay don’t worry these are not the top prizes, they are merely one of the better prizes you can pull in the set! We kick things off with Mickey and Gang, consisting of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and new character Max! Great to see our standard 4 and a new character in Max! The mini figures are Happy Kuji main selling point and they have included them for this set which is awesome! All of them have the same theme for their outfit, just different color and different from previous releases as well!
Prize 6 to 8 (15 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Ariel 4th. The others 5th.
Design: 3
Distribution: 3 x 5 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Sadly no Pooh and friends and we jumped into the Disney Princesses, we have Belle, Ariel and Rapunzel and I really was hoping more princesses but these 3 are popular enough to draw crowd. They also have different pose or outfit compared to previous releases so all is well!
Prize 9, 10 (10 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Both debut!
Design: 2
Distribution: 2 x 5 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
New characters are always welcome, we have Judy and Nick from Zootopia! They both don a Christmas hat and looks like they are ready to celebrate the holiday, and again, I do hope that we have more characters in the future!
Prize 11, 12 (10 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Both 3rd
Design: 2
Distribution: 2 x 5 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
We welcome back 2 returning characters from Frozen, we have Anna and Elsa here and they both look great. They have different outfit from their past appearances so nothing bad here. I do wish that we have more characters, normally we have 20 and this year they drops to 12 characters, so it does feel a little different.
Prize 13 to 18 (6 pieces)

Design: 6
Distribution: 6 x 1 piece each.
Prize Rating:
So no bonus prizes for this year, instead we have plush for the top prizes, they look decent, I mean I think they are not making them cute enough, just something doesn’t feels right. Each of them are unique in the set though, so that’s something valuable. That being said, the variety looks great, all are popular characters and they even give 3 Aliens for Prize 17. The plush are 20cm tall, so definitely not small and they can be used as ornaments too!
Prize A/B (2 pieces)

Design: 2
Distribution: 2 x 1 piece each.
Prize Rating:
It’s a common thing that the top prizes feature a big box consisting of characters from the small prizes, this is good for display and if you are collecting the figures, 1 box can settles most of it. However, each of this box this time round only has 3 figures, a little bit sad as it doesn’t feel as wholesome as last time where we have 5 to 6 figures, but at least they still feature it. We have Prize A featuring Mickey, Minnie and Donald and Prize B featuring the 3 princesses.
Prize C/D/E (6 pieces)

Design: 3
Distribution: 3 x 2 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
I am not sure how I feel right now, because I do enjoy the big box and characters inside but at the same time, having only 2 characters feels really weird and normally only 1 big box has a pair of figures while the others have more, this set features 3 big box with only 2 figures. The lack of figures does suck a bit, but it’s still a nice box and they are giving 2 each in a set, so I shall not complain too much. Prize C we have Goofy and Max. Prize B are the Zootopia duo. Prize C Elsa and Anna.
Charm Prize (24 pieces)

Design: 6
Distribution: 6 x 4 pieces each. Selectable
Prize Rating:
Lastly we have charms, usually these are the free gift so I can see that we are probably going to adapt to the new style where not all items in the Kuji are figures. The charm looks good, we have designs of famous duo in the Disney Franchise, each one of them has a unique color and design, and you can choose your favorite! Hope you pull more of the figures than any of these.
Campaign Free Gift

So the free gift is still here as part of the Disney Ornament Tradition, by buying at least 2 tickets, you are entitled to choose one of these amazing postcards! They look great and you can use it to send out Christmas Postcard! Or just keep it as a souvenir! They are limited, so do buy early if you want some of these!
Last Prize

Prize Rating:
The last prize traditionally is a jumbo Mickey Plush and this stands at 60cm tall! He can stand on his feet if you like him to and he is equally huggable, you can go for a 7- buyout if you want this and hope there are still some figures left and not many duplicates!

Conclusion
For a Kuji with a lot of great prizes I would expect it to grade higher, but this year feels lot of a downgrade, for one, no more snow globe as the top prize, traditionally we will have 20 figures, this year only 12 figures, so that affected the big box and they included none figure prizes like the charm and plush as part of the prize pool, no Winnie as well and they also lack the bonus prize, so a lot of things changes out of a sudden just hope it’s temporary.
Odds
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to E or 13 to 18): 13 / 100 = 13%, slightly higher than average
Recommendation
3 tickets for a chance at the big box or at least some Xmas items!
Collectibles?
The Real Deal: I believe the Zootopia Duo are not going to be released in the future, so if you can maybe get both the figure prize or 1 Prize D big box! For the same reason I think you can get a Max figure too.
Nice to have: Any figures are nice to have, no need to collect everything maybe just the character that you need since most of them will be release in the future and most have past releases.
Collect only if you don’t already have: It’s usually better to get a set of characters from the same theme, so in this case you can get Mickey Minnie Donald and Goofy if you don’t have any past figures. Same of the Disney Princesses and Frozen characters.
Skippable: The plush are cute, but no need to collect them unless you want to keep them for personal liking. The acrylic charms are useful items and probably not a collectible ones, so don’t spend too much effort in getting them.
