Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.
Series Sequel: 4th Monster Hunter Set. First in 2022!
With every new game, Monster Hunter will release a new Kuji, Rise Sunbreak is no different and we will be getting some new monsters and more goodies for Monster Hunter fans! So let’s check out the prizes!
Prize A (2 pieces) / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: Debut
Prize Rating:
Every Monster Hunter set will kick off with a new monster, this is no different, we have Malzeno to kick off the set and it looks great! Figure stands at 16cm tall and has a transparent base for you to elevate it and also a cardboard background for you to display this monster. A good prize to anticipate but sadly only 2 pieces in a set instead of the usual 6 pieces in the past 😦
Anyway it’s a double chance prize, so you might get another chance at this if you failed to pull it.
Prize B (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut
Prize Rating:
If you are into gold kind of stuff, then how about a gold version of Malzeno! The size and sculpt is exactly the same with this variant being all gold in color and the background that comes with it is different, so if you are lucky enough to pull this, good for you! It’s like literally striking gold! As expected, only 1 of such figure in a set.
Prize C (4 pieces)

Design: 2
Distribution: 2 x 2 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Next we have plates and they are not exactly the best top prizes one can look for in a set. I mean for one, it’s not a big plate, it’s only 19cm in diameter, just slightly bigger than the normal mini plates from the small prize list. The design and materials are good, just felt a bit shortchanged as this prize should belong to the small prize section.
Prize D (10 pieces)

Design: 3
Distribution: 1 x 4 pieces. 2 x 3 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Continuing the tradition of a Monster Hunter set, we have the monster magnet head! This set features the 3 lords of the game: Malzeno, Lunagaron and Garangolm! What is great about these is that once you pull it you are able to choose your design! So it’s easier for you to get all 3 heads! Definitely one of the better prize and also something that fans will look forward to pull!
Prize E (15 pieces)

Design: 6
Distribution: 3 x 3 pieces each. 3 x 2 pieces each. Blind packs
Prize Rating:
Next we have plastic cups and they are not small at all! It’s 12cm in height, so different a good drinking cup compared to common cup prizes in other Kuji. The design is superb as well, we have the one with the logo, a set of mini boss, all the small monsters and 3 lords each having their own design! Wow it’s just so eye catching and definitely something you won’t regret getting!
Prize F (24 pieces)

Design: 4 long. 4 small.
Distribution: 4 long x 2 pieces each. 4 small x 4 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Next we have towels, I think it’s quite common to get towels for Monster Hunter sets, that being said, the long towels does look good and the small ones are adorable so not too bad, just hope you don’t pull too many of these.
Prize G (24 pieces)

Design: 12
Distribution: 12 x 2 pieces each. Blind packs
Prize Rating:
Lastly but definitely not the least we have acrylic stand! 12 Monsters are being featured here so nothing bad about pulling any of these as they look great altogether or you can display them with your other Monster Hunter collectibles. They could have given us way worst than these, so I am just thankful at least the prize is nice and worth collecting for those interested.
Last Prize

Prize Rating:
As you can see, the last prize is another variant of Malzeno, this time round the color is darker as though it’s in the dark and it also comes with a transparent base but comes with a different background. You can take this as an alternative if you didn’t mange to pull Prize A or B! You can look for a 10- buyout or 20- buyout with either all 3 magnet heads still inside or A or B still left.

Conclusion
Monster Hunter set could potentially be a great set if not for the distribution of big prizes, they usually lack of variety of Monster figures for the top prizes, but they are not the worst at least because they still have good small prizes that are appealing to the fans, nevertheless, they do keep their tradition with a new monster figure every year and new magnet heads, so that should good enough for buyers.
Odds
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to C): 7 / 80 = 8.75%, slightly lower than average
Chance to get a figure prize (A, B or D): 13 / 80 = 16.25%, higher than average!
Recommendation
3 tickets for a chance at the figure or at least a magnet head or look for a good buyout!
Collectibles?
The Real Deal: Well if you have been collecting the previous 3 Monster Hunter figure, you shouldn’t miss Malzeno. Similarly, if you have all previous magnet head or would like to start your magnet head collection for this franchise, you should get all 3.
Nice to have: The gold or dark Malzeno is nice to have but the chances of pulling them is not high or buying out might be too costly, so only get them as alternatives or if you really like this Monster. Speaking of things that are nice to have, all 6 cups do look nice to collect as well as all 12 acrylic stand, however they are very hard to collect since they are all blind packs, so do it only if you really like the designs, you can play to obtain them and trade your spares or look at second hand market.
Skippable: Well the towels are not a must to get, they lack the collectible themes, the plates as well, they act more like a useful item when pulled.
