Series Sequel: 54th Pokemon Kuji set! 3rd in 2022!
Wow it’s almost the end of the year and Pokemon just had it’s 3rd set this year! That’s not as common! I am always down more quality sets than the quantity of releases. This set features only Mimikkyu, as given in the title, but general Pokemon fan can look for some goodies in this set! So let’s dive right into it!
For past Kuji prizes, do visit Ichiban Kuji Pokemon Full Prize Index List
Prize A (3 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 6th
Prize Rating:
You can’t call this a Mimikkyu set if it’s not the first thing you see at the top of the prize. You get a big plush for the A prize! A standard large Kuji plush at 30cm tall, probably not the thing you are looking for if you are not a fan of Plush or you already had previous Plush, but no harm pulling it, you can sell or trade it and it definitely will be more than your ticket cost!
Prize B (2 pieces)

Prize Rating:
Next is something non Plush related and probably more suited to buyers who like useful items! You get a coffee pot! This is special because it has the Mimikkyu logo on it and it has a cup on top of it that is compatible to store, so if you are brewing a coffee or tea, you can just put it into the pot and use the cup above to drink, just feels like they are trying to maximize the utility of the prize, so thumbs up!
Prize C (2 pieces)

Prize Rating:
Next we continue the usable top prizes, here is large blanket and the material is different, it is very soft furry, it is 70cm long, the quality and size is definitely worth being in the top prize! Again these prizes act as a good attraction for fans who are not very interested in Plush, at least now they get more interesting thing to target when playing!
Prize D (5 pieces)

Prize Rating:
We are not done with the top prizes! Next we have tote bag and it is 30cm long with good material and very nice design that not only features Mimikkyu but other Pokemon as well! What is so generous is that there are 5 of these to go around! Wow, means more people are able to win something big! Hope we continue to get this kind of generosity from Bandai!
Prize E (12 pieces)

Design: 2
Distribution: 6 x 2 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Omg, we are not reaching the small prize list yet, because we are having consolation prizes! So these prizes are not as good as the top prize but better than the small prizes indefinitely! These are ceramic cups, comes in 2 color, you can pick your favorite ones if you play early on, most Kuji cups are plastic, so to get a ceramic ones definitely feels different and compensated in the least!
Prize F (22 pieces)

Design: 2 plates, 2 saucer, 1 spoon
Distribution: 2 x 5 pieces each. 3 x 4 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
One thing I really appreciate about Pokemon Kuji is the variety for their small prizes. This prize contains 3 items: mini plates, saucer and a spoon, you may pick any one of them when you pull this prize! The mini plates is standard but design wise is great this time round, quality wise I have no doubt that it’s durable as always. The saucer can act as a bowl, it’s 7cm, the design is similar to the ceramic cups but quality wise won’t lose to it, just a bit smaller than it. The spoon is special, I mean it’s a nice spoon and definitely can come in handy! You probably will be spoilt for choices, which is a good problem!
Prize G (22 pieces)

Design: 4
Distribution: 2 x 6 pieces each. 2 x 5 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Normally I wouldn’t rate the towels that high, and even if I would it might be the design that appeals to me. However, this time round, the towels are presented very differently! You will get a wrap towel and it will be store in a plastic, and you can use the towel! Many of past Kuji towels are not usable, can’t absorb the water well, but this is not it, you get very useful towels and they featured popular Pokemon, not only Mimikkyu!
Prize H (22 pieces)

Design: 10
Distribution: 2 x 3 pieces each. 8 x 2 pieces each. Blind box.
Prize Rating:
Last but not least, we have acrylic charms and they look good! They featured lots of popular Pokemon, the only problem is that it is blind box, but fortunately all designs are good and you shouldn’t feel bad for any design you pulled!
Last Prize / Double Chance

Prize Rating:
The last prize is almost the same Mimikkyu is Prize A, it has an additional bow tie, that’s about it, everything else is similar so if you are unable to Pull A, you can go for a 6- buyout or 12- with at least one non plush top prizes left!
You can win this via double chance too, so don’t buyout just yet unless it’s a good buy or you really want to try your luck to win this!

Conclusion
Overall for a set that features heavily on Mimikkyu, we are getting very good big prizes and there are consolation prizes to be won too, the small prizes are good too, they don’t feel so much like small prizes! We are getting our money worth! Hope Bandai keeps this up or improve better so we can see amazing Kuji more often!
Odds
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to E): 12 / 90 = 13.3%, slightly than average.
Recommendation
3 tickets for a chance at a top prize! If not getting a cup/glass/plate/spoon would be good too!
Collectibles? : Nothing too much collect to honest, this set feels more like a set that attracts buyer for the prizes that are meant to be use and appeals to people in general, however if you don’t have previous Mimikkyu Plush, this would be a good time to get it!
