Happy Kuji Minion Fever

Retail Price: 800.80Yen

Total Tickets: 80

Released Date: 1 Oct 2022

Happy Kuji: Usually you get what you pull, no choosing of designs unless otherwise stated

Aren’t the minion popular or what! With 1 movie being released recently they manage to get 2 different Kuji brand carrying their items! We had one from Ichiban Kuji past few months ago, so let’s see if Happy Kuji can top them!

SP Prize (1 piece)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

One thing I always appreciate about Happy Kuji is the existence of a SP prize, this is the prize that everyone would hope to pull in a set! The figure is Otto riding his tricycle, it’s way bigger than the figures they usually release! It’s about 14cm tall so definitely good to display and only 1 in a set so hope you are lucky enough to pull it!

Prize 1 to 20 (20 pieces)

Design: 20

Distribution: 20 x 1 piece each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Wow the figure continues in this series and instead of the usual 10 figures for other series, we are getting 20 distinct figures! Each one feature a character from the movie in different outfits and regardless of what you pull, they are all adorable and if you don’t fancy them you can trade them away! I believe there is a demand for them, just looking at them makes want to collect them all already! Figures range from 5.5cm to 10cm depending on the character, so standard to the usual Happy Kuji figures!

Prize 11 to 14 (8 pieces)

Design: 4

Distribution: 4 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Before going into the small prizes, we have our consolation prize here in the form of a silicon pouch! It’s rare we get such a material for pouches and the minion design just make it look better! Pouch is 11.5cm tall, so should be long enough for you to store your small essentials!

Squeeze Ball Charm Prize (11 pieces)

Design: 11

Distribution: 11 x 1 piece each. Selectable

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Moving into our small prize list and I don’t think this one feels small as well! It’s rarer than the figure prize and each design is unique in a set! Each features a character facial expression and it’s a charm but you can use them as a squeeze ball! Definitely something I would want to get when I play this set!

Badge Prize (20 pieces)

Design: 10

Distribution: 10 x 2 pieces each. Selectable

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Moving on we have tin badges. They are very special because 4 of them are a pair of round badges, 4 of them are a pair of square badges and 2 are big round badges! The big one will most likely be the one that is chosen first, I mean they look fantastic, especially the one where everyone forms a Minion design! The pair are not bad either! We have cute design for round badges and the main character with their outfit for the square badge, very appealing prizes so far, nothing bad!

Sticker Prize (20 pieces)

Design: 10

Distribution: 10 x 2 pieces each. Selectable

Prize Rating:

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Nothing against the design, they look great and Happy Kuji is generous enough to give a A4 size sheet with a lot of stickers that are nice, but as always, stickers used to be a freebie and now they are putting it as a prize feels a bit sad. Regardless, I feel like we got a lot of fancy prizes above, so give and take.

Last Prize

Prize Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Well if SP prize is so amazing despite featuring only a single character, then the last would be a level higher! This amazing figure features young Gru with Bob, Kevin and Stuart riding his bike and wow, all 4 characters together just shout for a big buyout! You can look for a 14- buyout or 20- with at least 4 figures inside!

Conclusion

Wow this set is so close to being a near perfect set if it’s not for those stickers :/ Regardless they still make a fantastic set with the figures, pouch, charm and badges! I mean we are just thankful there isn’t too much stickers flooding in the set, and they kind of balance the odds out; weaker small prize but way better top prizes!

Odds

Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!

Chance to get a figure prize (SP, 1 to 20): 21 / 80 = 26.25%, way higher than average!

Recommendation

5 tickets for a chance at one of the figurines, or some Minions goodies, hopefully not too many stickers!

Collectibles? : SP and Last is a good collectible item, that goes without saying. Prize 1 to 20 are great items to collect too, but they are all hard to hunt, so either get ready for a huge buyout or just play a few tickets and trade and buy the missing items from someone who has them! The small prizes are cute, maybe just get the ones that appeals to you, main thing would still be the figures!
