Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.

Series Sequel: 18th Sumikko Gurashi Kuji. Second in 2022!

Sumikko doesn’t appear as often for Ichiban Kuji! But when they do they usually provide good prizes, this theme is to celebrate their 10th anniversary! It is also a circus theme to celebrate the occasion! Let’s see what they have for us!

Prize A (1 piece)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

This is probably the prize that everyone is looking for! It’s a container, I mean it’s a carousel figure with Neko, Tokage and Shirokuma performing under a circus umbrella, the bottom part is the container where you can store your stationeries. The whole thing stands at 16cm tall, having this prize still available is definitely more attractive than without it!

Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 13th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Shirokuma kicks off the plush prizes and he looks great here! He dons on a wizard cape and hat, feels like he is going to do some magic in the circus! The plush is 25cm tall, so big and huggable, no harm pulling it!

Prize C (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 11th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Oh wow Tonkatsu is finally one of the top prizes! He is usually the last prize so fans of him are pretty sad that they always have to wait for a buyout. He dresses like a popcorn cart server, a pity that Ebi doesn’t come with him this time round, but still cute and adorable and a rare piece, so nothing bad for pulling!

Prize D (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 14th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Oh no!! Neko becomes a rare piece in the set 😦 Wow such a surprise, I though the big 3 Sumikko will always have 2 pieces in every set, since they have a good fanbase. Neko looks great here, she dresses like a Jester and fans of her wouldn’t mind pulling this at all! Hope the rarity is only for this set and next set we can go back to normal!

Prize E (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 16th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Last plush for the top prizes we have Tokage and he dress like another Wizard. I mean it’s Tokage, he can don on anything and people will still pick him over the rest. So 2 pieces might be little considered his popularity!

Prize F (16 pieces)

Design: 4

Distribution: 4 x 4 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

We move onto the small prize section and the pouches look great! They don’t feel like small prizes, they are 18cm long and translucent in color and each design features the circus, it’s a very appealing prize, will most likely cover your ticket cost, so no harm pulling!

Prize G (20 pieces)

Design: 3 plates 3 glasses

Distribution: 2 x 4 pieces each. 4 x 3 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Next are mini plates and glasses. They are not blinded so feel free to choose your design! The plates are 10cm in diameter and features Shirokuma, Tokage and the group design. Glasses are 8.5cm tall and features the other 3. You can pick based on your favorite character or utility of the prize, I supposed the group design and the glasses will be more popular.

Prize H (23 pieces)

Design: 5

Distribution: 3 x 5 pieces each. 2 x 4 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

I feel like the towels this time round are a bit off, the top 3 designs are not bad if you see how good the previous towels are, you get what I mean. No long towels also, hope we get better towels or best, no towel haha.

Last Prize / Double Chance

Top Prize Rating: 10th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

For Penguin fans, don’t worry he is still in the set but only as a last prize, so if you want to get him you need to go for a buyout! He dress as a showman with hat and bowtie. You can look for a 8- buyout or 14- with at least one other plush in it! 20- if Prize A is still inside!

He is also a double chance prize! So if you don’t want to buy out, you can join double chance first after getting a few tickets to see if you won!

Conclusion

Consider this set as average for a 10th year anniversary, I mean I expected more but I think it’s just one of their usual sets, nothing too bad, maybe I had high expectations. Regardless, the prizes are good, maybe the towels could be better but a standard Kuji, nothing bad.

Odds

Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!

Chance to get a top prize (A to E): 7 / 66 = 10.6%, average.

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance at a top prize!

Collectibles? : Again for Sumikko set, if you want to go for collection either keep the plush set of 5 or pick your favorite character. Prize A is also a good item to collect should you choose to keep it, but first you need to pull it!
