Total Tickets: 100

Released Date: August 2022

San X Kuji: Selectable prizes for every tier! No Last prize 😦

We move onto the 27th Sumikko Gurashi Kuji from San X, this set features a Halloween theme and from past sets they usually stuck well to the provided theme, so let’s see what they have in store for us!

Plush Prize (4 pieces)

Design: 4

Distribution: 1 x 1 piece each

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Sumikko have exceptionally adorable plush, I mean when you hug them it does feels like you hugging the actual size character, all of them are dressed in their Halloween outfit! We have Shirokuma, Neko, Penguin and Tokage, once you pull this prize, you will be able to choose which one you want, so do play early if you want Neko or Tokage as they are usually the most popular ones! Standard 30cm plush, nothing bad!

Twin Plush Prize (2 pieces)

Design: 2

Distribution: 1 x 1 piece each

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Smaller plush, actually not that small, Tonkatsu is 25cm tall while Ebi is 22.5cm tall, both are also in their Halloween outfit, this is probably the hardest prize to pull since there is only 2 of them, half the number of the bigger plush, so if you do pull them count yourself lucky!

Hand Puppet Prize (4 pieces)

Design: 1

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Well we are still within the top prize section, just different segment, next we have a new character in the form of Obake! This is not your standard plush, it’s a hand puppet but can be treated like a plush too! It’s 20cm tall and adorable so you are not being short changed of anything here!

Glass Prize (8 pieces)

Design: 8

Distribution: 2 x 4 pieces each

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

We now moved into the consolation prize section and the glasses isn’t too bad! They are 15cm tall and glows in the dark! I mean if you want to drink a cup of water in the middle of the night you will be able to locate the cups! Very nice feature, suitable for the theme and not easy to pull too!

Towel Prize (26 pieces)

Design: 2

Distribution: 2 x 13 pieces each

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

We proceed to the small prize section, this time we have long towels which have the Halloween theme! Each design looks great, they are 25cm wide 100cm long, so good enough for a face towel, at least the prize still justify the cost so nothing bad here!

Sticker Prize (56 pieces)

Design: 4

Distribution: 4 x 14 pieces each

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Lastly and also the prize that most people do want to avoid, actually maybe not that it’s a bad prize, it’s just the one that has the most quantity in a set. The glow in the dark stickers are not that bad, I mean they are one time use, which kind of sucks but they do stick around and you can decorate your cabinet, table, wall or basically anything that can paste a sticker! They are also generous, they are giving plenty of characters in sheet that is slightly longer than an A4 size. I mean this is the worst case you can go, so if you can appreciate this, nothing bad about playing this Kuji!

Conclusion

Again nothing bad on a Sumikko Kuji with good prizes and a decent theme, it has decent prizes that can attract fans of Sumikko, maybe not so much for the public eyes, again this Kuji also suffers from not having a last prize, any if the top prizes are gone, it’s quite unlikely that anyone would buy, but again, nothing against the prize, just the design of this Kuji.

Odds

Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!

Chance to get a top prize (Plush or Hand Puppet): 10 / 100 = 10%, average

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance at some goodies, I mean worst case are stickers, but you can surely paste them somewhere to make good use of them!

Collectibles? : Well, you can collect all 6 plush and the hand puppet, but that’s practically impossible unless you are going to buy lots of tickets, so just collect or trade to get your favorite, if you want to keep a collection, all 6 plush would be ideal since they all have outfit that fits only this theme.
