Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.
Series Sequel: 23rd Evangelion Kuji set, 4th in 2022
Well, seems like we are getting a lot of Eva Kuji this year, this series is mainly focusing on the pilots, aka the humans, so you won’t be able to pull any Eva Units here from the prizes, that being said, let’s see what they have in store for us.
For past prizes, do visit Ichiban Kuji Evangelion Prize Index List
Prize A (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 3rd
Prize Rating:
Wow we are kicking things off with Shinji! So as mentioned, no Eva units for the top prize, but the humans look great, they come with a round base and in the background, their respective Eva Units, which is Eva Unit 01 for Shinji, not a bad figure overall, also it’s a rare piece.
Prize B (1 piece)

Top Prize Appearance: 17th
Prize Rating:
Rei appears almost as common in every set, I am surprised that she is the rare piece in the set! The background is Eva Unit 00, so you can see there’s a pattern for the figure this time round!
Prize C (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 21st
Prize Rating:
Asuka appeared the most amongst any character in the series, despite that her figure still looks good! She has Eva Unit 02 in the background, and there is also 2 pieces of her, so nothing bad here.
Prize D (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 9th
Prize Rating:
It’s been a while since we last saw Mari, great to see her again, surprisingly she also has 2 pieces in a set, so easier for you to pull her. The background is Eva Unit 08.
Prize E (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 7th
Prize Rating:
With Kaworu, we completed all 5 members in the set! His background is Eva Unit 06. All of them are great looking figures, and if you want to collect, all of them together would look great!
Prize F (16 pieces)

Design: 8
Distribution: 8 x 2 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Next we have the small prizes, we begin with acrylic stand, each of them features one of the humans and their quote in Japanese, not a bad prize, but doesn’t feel very appealing to get, they did better acrylic stand before.
Prize G (28 pieces)

Design: 5 small, 3 long
Distribution: 4 x 4 pieces each. 4 x 3 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Towels again… But one thing I like is the continuation of design for the long towels, they have this retro gaming design that makes the art look so good. The small towel featured the human and their Eva Units in the background, which doesn’t look that bad, so bearable prize overall.
Prize H (28 pieces)

Design: 10
Distribution: 8 x 3 pieces each. 2 x 2 pieces each.
Prize Rating:
Lastly on the small prize list we have folder, only 1 folder in each prize with the humans as the design, some have multiple design for a character and you also get a sticker of their logo or Eva Units, so 2 prizes for 1 ticket, not that bad, but not that good either.
Last Prize / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 8th
Prize Rating:
Okay so when I say you are not able to pull an Eva Unit, I meant it, but doesn’t mean there isn’t any Eva Units in the set! If you like this Eva Unit 01, you will need to buyout, so lookout for a 12- buyout or 18- with at least 1 figure inside!
You can also obtain this via double chance!

Conclusion
Not saying it’s a bad set, but it’s more of a skippable set. There isn’t any Eva Unit worth pursuing, and the small prizes are as bad as some of the least likable sets in the past, I feel like this set is there to hype the event in Japan and nothing else, so as a player and collector, you do not have to buy anything here if you don’t feel like it.
Odds
Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!
Chance to get a top prize (A to E): 8 / 80 = 10%, average
Recommendation
3 tickets for a chance at a figure or look for a good buyout for the Eva Unit!
Collectibles? : If you intend to collect, then just get all 5 humans, but if you don’t, you don’t missed out anything so don’t feel too bad. Maybe for collectors, you can buyout for the Eva Unit 01
