Series Sequel: 84th One Piece Kuji set! 5th in 2022

Wow we have more One Piece Kuji now, I don’t think it’s a bad thing, since this set is web exclusive and it’s mainly focus around the Akashia characters, it’s really a standalone set so let’s see what they have for us!

For past Kuji set, do visit One Piece Ichiban Kuji Prize Index List

Prize A (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 2nd, debut in Samurai form

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

We have Kinunojo to kick start the set, she debut before in Wano act 1 but this time round she dons the samurai outfit which looks absolutely dope! A great figure (17cm) with a good base and definitely an essential if you want to complete the Nine Red Scabbards collection!

Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Following that, we have Raizo, he is smaller than the others (at 13cm), which is anime accurate, but that doesn’t mean anything bad, he looks great as well and if you are going to complete the Nine Red Scabbards, you definitely need to get him!

Prize C (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 2nd, debut in Sulong form.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Well we have another returning character in Inuarashi, he debut before in his normal form, this time round he is featured in Sulong form which looks amazing! Absolutely amazing and definitely a figure to look out for, even for casual fans!

Prize D (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Kawamatsu is also another character that is smaller in figure, same size as Raizo but looks great too, I mean he just look unique and the color of his figure makes the whole collection look really solid!

Prize E (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

So lastly in the top prize section, we have Ashura Doji, he looks good, you should expect a bulkier figure and you need him to complete the Nine Red Scabbards, so glad that we have 5 out of 9 of them in this set! Luckily all have 2 pieces so easier for anyone to complete the set!

Prize F (20 pieces)

Design: 6

Distribution: 2 x 4 pieces each. 4 x 3 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Next up, we have Visual sheet to kick off the small prize section. They are B4 in size and the art is amazing, they feature some of the main characters and also the Akazaya Nine. Not a bad prize, at least something we can all appreciate!

Prize G (20 pieces)

Design: 6

Distribution: 2 x 4 pieces each. 4 x 3 pieces each. Blind box.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Next we have glass plates, featuring 6 of the straw hat crew. They look great, just sad that we are getting only half the team here, hope the other half appears in the next set! The colour looks great and it’s a good saucer plate!

Prize H (30 pieces)

Design: 12

Distribution: 6 x 3 pieces each. 6 x 2 pieces each. Blind box.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Last small prize in the set is a series of rubber charms featuring a lot of retro one piece character, from Luffy to Law to Roger and Oden. I believe the next set will have more characters. To avoid confusion, there is only 1 charm in a prize, the black side is the back with the character’s favorite quote in Japanese.

Last Prize / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 4th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Not part of the Nine Red Scabbards but good to see Oden again and his figure is the same concept as the other 5 top prizes, so you can easily fit him in. If you need an Oden figure, you can look for a 8- buyout or 15- with at least 1 other figure!

If not, you can hope for a double chance win.

Conclusion

For a one piece set, I think this is really okay, like they featured a lot of characters that don’t appear usually, so it feels fresh, even the small prizes looks okay, so really nothing bad. You will need to find a way to buy the tickets online and ship to you, that’s the hassle part.

Odds

Let’s calculate your odds to get the following with one ticket from a fresh board!

Chance to get a top prize (A to E): 10 / 80 = 12.5%, higher than usual !

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance at a figure or a good buyout for collection of all figures.

Collectibles? : For One Piece collector, I think A to E would be a good addition to your massive collection, if you are hardcore about it, you can even get the last prize. You will also need to lookout for the next set to get all 9 members!
