Released Date: 19 Feb 2022

Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.

Series Sequel: 2nd Shaman King Kuji, first in 2022

The previous Shaman King kicks off with some decent prizes, since it’s only the second set for the series, let’s hope they have some good prizes for us.

Prize A (2 pieces) / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: Debut!

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

The great thing about a Shaman King figure is that we are going to get some good quality figures. Hao looks great here with the spirit of Fire. The fire even act as a base for the overall figure. Definitely looks great and worth playing for a chance to get it.

Luckily it is also the double chance prize, so you are able to have another chance of getting it.

Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 2nd

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Yoh is expected to get a figure for every Shaman King Kuji going forward. The first figure does look better but this one is not bad too. Amidamaru spirit is with him for this figure too. It’s a figure, so nothing bad at all.

Prize C (3 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Okay that’s the end of the figures in the set, which is kind of disappointing, I was expecting more figures to be released. Regardless. this next prize is an Illustration Board. It’s A3 size so definitely big enough to display and looks good in your room. The character featured and the art is amazing overall, just for a big prize, it doesn’t feel so attractive.

Prize D (21 pieces)

Design: 10

Distribution: 1 x 3 pieces. 9 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Who I first saw Chocokko brand I was expecting mini figures, but nope, we are getting charms. They are adorable, so at least you won’t feel that bad for pulling them.

Prize E (22 pieces)

Design: 8

Distribution: 6 x 3 pieces each. 2 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Next we have art board, they look great, each featuring the main characters and a good collectible item if you are into the show. Decent prize.

Prize G (30 pieces)

Design: 10

Distribution: 10 x 3 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

I feel like giving us another set of charms is a little too much. The charms are good, the design feels unique and each design is a different character with their Shaman, nothing bad about it. Just in terms of prize distribution we would want more variety, 2 types of charms is a little overkill.

Last Prize

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

If you are unable to pull Prize A, buying out would be ideal. This version of Hao has a special color, it is practically impossible to tell the figures apart. Like the color tone really isn’t much difference, so you can buyout at 10- tickets to get this piece or 20- if A or B is still around.

Conclusion

So the problem with this set is that the top prizes are limited, there is only 4 figures out of 80 tickets and the others are a bunch of lower tier small prizes, luckily the designs are great, if not the set could get worst. Both figurines are great, the other prizes are really just there to flood the odds. Hopefully we see more improvement on their part for the next set.

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance to get A or B, or wait for a good buyout

Collectibles? : Hao is definitely a must to collect. Yoh is optional if you have the previous one. The other small prizes are not bad, you can try collecting a set for your own personal collection.
