Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.

No anime, no cute characters, just a simple Meiji Kuji! For those of you not sure, it’s a Japanese brand that specializes in candies and chocolates! You might have eaten some of their brand items before!

Prize A (2 pieces) / Double Chance

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Here’s a cushion that shaped like a Meiji chocolate bar with a bear on it. It’s 50cm long so good for you to rest your head with it.

Just in case you really want it, you can try to get this from double chance too.

Prize B (3 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I believe you would have seen the Apollo strawberry chocolate before! You have 2 plates for this prize! First it’s a 22cm diameter long big plates and also a 10cm long pie shape small plate! It’s not one of the best Kuji top prizes, but you get 2 plates for the 1 ticket, so that’s something good.

Prize C (4 pieces)

Design: 2

Distribution: 2 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

For a small prize, yes sure this would be the best, but as a top prize, this is not exactly a good prize to pull. It’s a good quality tote bag, with design similar to the snacks but giving something others have given as a small prize and making rarer don’t really feel like a big prize… The bag is foldable so no issue storing it.

Prize D (20 pieces)

Design: 5

Distribution: 5 x 4 pieces each. Blind box.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Next we have glasses, and they have some Meiji famous snacks as the design which looks cool. Nothing bad here.

Prize E (21 pieces)

Design: 5

Distribution: 1 x 5 pieces. 4 x 4 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Towels are very common nowadays, it should be of no surprises when they are being revealed as a prize. The towels are bigger than normal Kuji towel, the design wise feels normal, I mean there’s quite a limit to designing a theme based on a snack brand but it is what it is.

Prize F (16 pieces)

Design: 4

Distribution: 4 x 4 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

We got a good prize here. The charm not only feature a metal star ring but the design of each candy and chocolate looks real! It’s shape like the actual food! So do keep this away from children as they might have mistaken this for food.

Last Prize

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Having a unique last prize looks great. This blanket is 95cm long, has the chocolate bar design and the chocolate bar packaging at the back!

If you really want it, can look for a 6- buyout or a 12- if A or B is still inside.

Conclusion

This is not a bad set, it’s just not as good as the other. The prizes are decent with a theme that is based on Meiji snacks, so you probably don’t expect much in the first place. If they added the actual snacks to the prize maybe it will feel more attractive.

Recommendation

2 tickets for a chance at A, B or C.

Collectibles? : None, feel free to skip this.
