Sanrio Lottery My Melody Rainbow Ears

Retail Price: 800 Yen

Total Tickets: 70

Released Date: 22 Jan 2022

Sanrio Lottery: You get what you pull, no choosing of designs required, prizes are usually worth your ticket cost

We follow up with a Melody Kuji! Sanrio Kuji tends to be a bit more systematic in their releases, so let’s see what we have here!

Prize 1 (2 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I was expecting some electric appliances for the top prize, but a cushioned seat is fine too! You can use this as a chair to sit on the floor, the quality is pretty good and you can close the lid to bring it around too. A pretty standard top prize for Sanrio Lottery.

Prize 2 (2 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

My thoughts of Plush are simple, I think they are cute, but they might not have value in the long run or usable so buyers might not fancy it. Still it’s a rare prize and it’s a big plush so nothing that bad.

Prize 3 (4 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Next we have mirror with frills around the sides. It’s again not a bad prize, but mirrors were given out as small prize before, so this feels a little underwhelm if not for the frills.

Prize 4 (10 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Similar to Prize 2, this is just a smaller plush, so in case you couldn’t pull the big one maybe the smaller one is not that bad. They are identical, just different size.

Prize 5 (10 pieces)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Next we have Hair turf and it sure looks adorable. You can even use it as a bandana. It’s quite long so don’t worry if you think it won’t fit.

Prize 6/7/8/9 (3 pieces each)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

It’s very rare to get 4 different designs for a particular prize nowadays for a solo character Sanrio Lottery. The acrylic charm is cute, each color has a unique shape and comes with a metal strap and a fur ball, despite that, I think the prize isn’t one of the best and could be better.

Prize 10/11 (5 pieces each)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This feels so much like a top prize. The drawstring pouch is huge, it can also act like a tote bag and both design feels elegant and material wise expect good materials for this prize. I think I will feel much happier eating this.

Prize 12/13 (5 pieces each)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Next we have pouch, they look great with the frills at the side and also the design looks cute. It’s quite a big pouch so nothing bad for pulling.

Prize 14/15 (5 pieces each)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

We end off with some heart shaped trays and they look good! You can use this as plates or a way to prepare some hearty meal so the aesthetic looks great!

Last Prize

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

So if you are into cushions, then you will have to buyout to get this Melody heart shaped cushion. I think it’s a decent bonus prize if you are buying out a 6- set. Not bad just a bit too normal to get this.

Conclusion

I don’t know is it they did better Melody Kuji before, but this don’t feel like very attractive as a set. The prizes are decent, just lack some wow factor to the set.

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance at the top prize, if not, get some useful stuff!

Collectibles? : Sanrio Kuji are not meant for collection, but if you fancy, the drawstring pouch is a good prize to keep.
