Retail Price: 800 Yen

Total Tickets: 80

Released Date: 15 Jan 2022

Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.

Series Sequel: 20th Eva Kuji, first in 2022

First Eva Kuji in 2022 but we don’t see any Eva Units here. This set features the ladies of Evangelion so if you are into Eva Units, then this set won’t be for you.

Prize A (3 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 18th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

It’s weird to see that the top prize is not begun with an Eva Unit. However, Asuka does look pretty here, this is the first time she poses like this! Usually her figurine is always standing. Again, like to emphasize that there will be NO Eva Unit in this set.

Prize B (2 pieces) / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 14th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Rei also has the same pose as Asuka unlike her other figures, so if you are a fan of the ladies, you can try your luck pulling their figures!

If you are unable to pull her, you can hope for a double chance win as well.

Prize C (1 piece)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

A gigantic Cushion is not bad as well. It’s not those plush cushion, just a standard cushion with Asuka design. 45cm long and a comfortable cushion for fan of her.

Prize D (1 piece)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

More cushions and this time round is Rei. Both her and Asuka design for the cushion is them in the alternate color suit, so something different but quality wise, the cushions are the same.

Prize E (1 piece)

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Sad to see that Mari is not featured as a figure but only in the cushion. I believe fans would have preferred a figure. Either way, all the cushions are rare pieces and it’s harder to pull a cushion than a figure.

Prize F (16 pieces)

Design: 8

Distribution: 8 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Normally I am not a fan of towels, but this is the only prize in the set that feature anything related to an Eva unit. The designs are great, all featuring a Eva Unit in action.

Prize G (36 pieces)

Design: 13

Distribution: 10 x 3 pieces each. 3 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

The visual art looks fine, but for the price of the Kuji, it’s a little lackluster. All main characters are featured but for a Evangelion Heroine set, they don’t seem to feature a lot of Heroine or at least nicer pictures of them.

Prize H (20 pieces)

Design: 8

Distribution: 4 x 3 pieces each. 4 x 2 pieces each

Prize Rating:

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

The characters look decent, what makes this prize a bit better is that you are getting 2 charms instead of 1, despite that, no signs of Eva Units and the character art don’t really seem appealing.

Last Prize

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Variant of Prize A. Asuka has an open mouth for this figure. So if you are unable to pull A you can consider buying out. Lookout for a 8- buyout or 15- if B is still inside.

Conclusion

With no Eva units, this set really has to rely on fans who are into Asuka and Rei. The small prizes don’t make it as if it’s an Evangelion Heroine set too, so would have to say that I am disappointed with the Kuji.

Recommendation

3 tickets for a chance to get A or B, or at least cushions

Collectibles? : You can safely skip this set without worrying that you are missing out anything.
