Ichiban Kuji Spy Family

Spy Family hasn’t appear in anime just yet but fans of the manga can get hype for this series as they debut their Kuji here!

Retail Price: 680 Yen

Total Tickets: 70

Released Date: 17th July 2021

As you can tell from the currency of the price, this set unfortunately do not have licensing in Singapore so we will not be able to get it, however, you can still buy from Japan if you are into this Kuji. The total tickets is pretty normal for a plush Kuji.

Prize A (2 pieces)

Just before you judge this cushion, it’s a 100cm cushion, big enough for you to hug it before you go to bed. I mean wow, that’s like one of the gigantic cushion, I am not sure if shipping fee is going to cost a lot but wow, very impress here, there are 2 pieces so more people are able to pull it.

Prize B (1 piece)

Just when you think Anya is the only big cushion here, you couldn’t be more wrong. Bond cushion is larger, at 110cm, you can really lie on it. I mean if you manage to pull it in one ticket, then good for you, you really make the best out of your pull. The only issue is the rarity, I mean they can always give you 2 A and 2B but then they just want to make this piece rarer so if you want to collect it, you might need some effort or luck to get it.

Prize C (4 pieces)

I know most people are not a fan of acrylic coaster or visual art, but what if we combine them into one! This amazing visual art acrylic coaster has the manga strip and you can use it as a coaster too! It’s 22cm long so you can put almost anything on top of it! It’s one of the top prizes and I don’t think if you are a fan you will hate this.

There are 2 designs, 2 pieces each in every set, not blinded.

Prize D (12 pieces)

Well if you didn’t manage to pull the big cushion, a small one might be a good consolation prize for you. The small cushion plush is not exactly very small, at 10cm tall you can use them as a charm or simply display them, they have amazing design, which doesn’t make you feel like you wasted your money at all!

There are 6 designs, 2 pieces each in a set, not blinded too.

Prize E (14 pieces)

If you are not into visual art or illustration board, it’s fine but can you tell me you don’t like how creative this illustration art really is! They even give you an easel to display the art so you can appreciate it instead of wondering how would you have display it! It’s a small art at 6.5cm but the creativity is there and you cannot be sad for pulling this.

There are 6 designs, 2 of them have 3 pieces while 4 others have 2 pieces in a set, not sure of the distribution as of now but not blinded so feel free to choose!

Prize F (14 pieces)

Okay we come to the towel part of the prizes, feel free to hate it but looking at how well they design it, I don’t think you can truly hate this prize! The little complain I have is that the designs are not consistent so you might not feel like collecting everything but it can be a good thing so it appeals to more people with different types of design.

There are 6 designs, 2 of them have 3 pieces while 4 others have 2 pieces in a set, not sure of the distribution as of now but not blinded so feel free to choose!

Prize G (23 pieces)

I feel like the way they display their prizes makes you feel less of them, so even a charm can look so good from the way they reveal it. The acrylic charm are pretty standard but it features all the main characters of the series so if you think you pull too much of it, you can just collect all the designs.

There are 8 designs, 1 of them have 2 pieces while the other 7 have 3 pieces each in a set. I am incline to believe that there’s only 1 Damien but not too sure yet. Not blinded also.

Last Prize

Just in case you haven’t had enough of cushions, this small cushion has the Spy Family art in the front and at the back a manga strip, feels special and it’s a unique prize so buying out is the only way to obtain it. I think this has some demand so it will encourage a buy out but not when the tickets left are very high.

Spy Family does feels like a good Kuji set with all the prizes feeling so appealing and the cushion is like wow, you just won the jackpot! If you really want the cushion, you can play for 10 tickets then just buy it off directly from someone else, don’t go too aggressive too as you might get worn out from this set.

CriteriaScore (Upon 10)
Design8: The overall theme feels so good, it makes you want to at least buy 1 ticket from this set!
Top Prizes8: Seriously the plush itself is worth 10/10! The acrylic coaster is really special maybe not everyone will appreciate it, but at least it’s something usable and unique!
Small Prizes8: The prizes are special too, can see they at least made effort to produce the prizes, the cushion charms are attractive and the visual board with easel is just so special that you want to keep at least 1 piece. The towels and charms are quite normal but the design part is decent, so I shall not dwell on that.
Last Prize6: Very good cushion, just not sure if it’s good enough to drive a buy out.
Monetary Value7: I think even if Singapore has the stock and sells at $13 or maybe $16 for those who parallel import it, you won’t feel so bad for anything you pull here.
Collection Value7: I think in future Spy family set they won’t be coming out with more character cushion so the cushion and the prizes will be a one off, but having a set or keeping the top prizes in the long run won’t lose it’s value especially when the anime is released and people will go crazy hunting for it.
Overall73.33% B. Really decent Kuji set with great prizes overall, just that it’s not an anime based set so the demand might not be there but the prizes themselves are really good or at least good enough that you don’t feel too bad about it. So if you read the manga and like the characters, just buy a few tickets if you have the chance to.
