Rilakkuma Kokoga Lifestyle Chapter 5

The Kokoga lifestyle for San-X continues. This is the fifth chapter for Rilakkuma and for those not familiar with this kind of Kuji is that the prizes are not exclusive to the Kuji, you can buy it elsewhere, but over here you pay for the ticket price in hopes to gain something that is more expensive than your ticket price! The prizes design can be chosen.

Ticket Price: SGD12

Total Tickets: 68

Released Date: July 2021

The ticket cost is a little cheaper than usual Kokoga lifestyle Kuji and the total tickets is quite normal for a stuff toy Kuji. I am expecting either more cheaper prizes or lesser top prizes.

Prize A (1 piece)

Of course we get Rilakkuma as the A prize. It’s an adorable plush, it seems big but it’s not as big as you think, it’s only 25cm tall, but for $12 it’s definitely worth the pull, if you are intending to pull this from the Kuji, please don’t, you can buy it directly at a much cheaper price, there’s only 1 in each set so you shouldn’t spend too much just to get this.

Prize B (2 pieces)

What an adorable hoodie. It feels really unique here. If you feel like being Rilakkuma or Korilakkuma one day you can wear this out, even if you don’t want to wear it, it’s a good prize to pull for $12. It’s actually bigger than prize A.

There are 2 designs, 1 each in every set.

Prize C (2 pieces)

The plush box looks adorable and at 25cm you can use it to store some small things neatly. The design is great with the handle being fiber as well. The only bad part about it is that there’s only 2 pieces in a set, which 2 will be randomly distributed by the manufacturer, so you can’t even collect the full set even if you buy out everything.

There are 3 designs, only 2 will be in a set with 1 piece each.

Prize D (5 pieces)

Well the big prizes keeps stacking, no pun intended. All the characters look great and if you collect all 4 design, it will make your bed or living hall look great. They are not small at all, they are actually bigger than prize A. Also it’s easier to pull them than any of the above prize so good for us.

There are 4 designs, 1 random design will have 2 pieces each while the other 3 will have 1 piece each in a set.

Prize E (9 pieces)

If you have been collecting Korilakkuma plush, then you will find the new design exciting to collect. Even if you don’t have previous Korilakkuma plush, any of these will make you feel happy. All designs are cute and will at least break even your ticket price.

There are 4 designs, 1 random design will have 3 pieces each in a set while the other 3 will have 2 pieces.

Prize F (8 pieces)

I think this is the prizes that a lot of people are eyeing on. The pouch is cute, either one will make you feel like your $12 is well spent and it’s so usable in many ways! Even if you don’t want to keep it, you can sell it at a profit!

There are 4 designs, 2 each in every set.

All 4 of them will always look cute in a set. They all have the bunny hat and wears a jumpsuit and if you have all 4 this will be a perfect display.

There are 4 designs, each has 2 pieces in every set.

Prize H (8 pieces)

These are a small accessories case that probably can store your ear piece. The designs are simple and good and the color variation makes them look appealing too, wouldn’t feel too bad if I pull this with $12.

There are 6 designs, 2 random designs will have 2 pieces in a set while the other 4 have 1 piece each.

Prize I (10 pieces)

These small stick casing sure looks cute. They are definitely not price at $12 but they are not a bad prize, I mean things can always get worst. The cuteness kind of overwrite any bad part about this prize.

There are 6 designs, 4 random one have 2 pieces each while 2 others have 1 each in a set.

Prize J (15 pieces)

Last and definitely the least, we have mini lock and keys. Actually come to think of it, they aren’t so bad. It’s pretty much a lock you can use to safeguard your bag or luggage. Don’t over rely on it, but for design and display purposes it does look great. What I always find weird is that they always include characters from other San X series, so if you aren’t a fan of non Rilakkuma characters, then you might not be as happy about the remaining design.

There are 7 designs, 1 random design will have 3 pieces while the other 6 will have 2 pieces each in every set.

Last Prize

The same plush compatible with Prize A. Korilakkuma looks as cute as always. However, don’t be too aggressive when buying out, her plush is probably worth around $30, so make sure whatever is left is worth your buy out.

Conclusion

The prizes here looks decent enough to buy at least 1 or 2 tickets. If you really like something here, just buy it off directly from the San-X shop, you won’t need the luck to get what you want. If you want to complete a set in anything, just buy it directly too. This set has good prizes but only serve as a fun Kuji for you to play a few tickets and see your luck. Then move on.

Grading

CriteriaScore (Upon 10)
Design7: A mixture of different themes and designs for each prizes but generally all have Rilakkuma in it so nothing bad.
Top Prizes8: From plush to more variation of plush, the prizes look exciting enough to make people buy this.
Small Prizes8: Overall really not that bad for the small prizes, at least they feel useful even if they don’t cover the $12 value.
Last Prize7: Last prize is always tricky here because you can buy it off directly, but it’s a cute plush so take nothing away from it.
Monetary Value7: Generally not too bad for the price you pay, would increase the score if the prizes are exclusive to the Kuji.
Collection Value5: One problem with San-X stuff is that people usually forgets about the old stuff and move on pretty quickly. So don’t bother collecting anything, the prizes can always be found in retail or at least not hard to obtain, so no point in collecting the set, you are more likely to make loss while collecting everything.
Overall70% B. Very chilling Kuji with good prizes and good price for the ticket. You can just play 2 tickets (given odds are still decent) to try luck and even if you don’t get anything good from it, you at least have a little bit of fun. Don’t overdo anything as usual.
