Ichiban Kuji: Selectable prizes for non-blinds small prizes. Double chance included if your country carries this Kuji.

Series Sequel: 48th Pokemon Kuji set! 2nd in 2021

We are back with another Pokemon Kuji! This time round the theme is picnic, so most of the prizes will be related to that! Hope to see some new Pokemon too!

Prize A (3 pieces) / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 20th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

We will more often or not get a Pikachu plush, so I think the best we can do is embrace it, also, it’s a cute plush, it has a wink expression that differentiates itself from previous releases. The picnic scarf around the neck also makes a little difference, so nothing bad about getting this plush!

If you didn’t pull this, you can try for double chance, who knows, you might win it!

Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: Debut!

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Good to see a new Pokemon and a cute one too. Yamper looks as adorable as Pikachu and it’s the first time it is featured as a top prize in the Kuji series so fans that wants to collect all the Pokemon plush would want their hands on this. 2 pieces in every set is not too bad,, would prefer this set to have 3 Yamper and 2 Pikachu instead but I think Bandai doesn’t want to risk a less popular character getting more prizes.

Prize C (7 pieces)

Design: 3

Distribution: 2 x 2 pieces each. 1 x 3 pieces.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Just in case you think you are mistaken, the Prize C is not only comes with the drawstring bag but the plush too! We have Pikachu, Eevee and Yamper here! In the Dramatic collection they made a drawstring bag a small prize but very limited, here they are making it a top prize! And to compensate that they included a small plush! You can keep the plush in the bag or put it aside and use the bag for other things! Do play early to be able to choose!

Prize D (6 pieces)

Design: 2

Distribution: 2 x 3 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Moving onto the smaller prize, we have Tote bags to kick off the list! Wow, they are giving a big and good quality tote bag for your small prizes! So even if you pull them you won’t feel bad at all! They are also rarer than the small plush so there will be value to them. A useful and rare prize with good designs is never a bad thing!

Prize E (25 pieces)

Design: 3 glasses. 3 plates.

Distribution:1 x 5 pieces. 5 x 4 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Usually when they give a choice between plates and glasses, the glasses are almost always going to be chosen first. Here we have glasses, amazing as they always are, and ceramic plates that are wider than normal! It’s a decent size plate with 17cm in diameter and you can use it for your daily meals! Design wise are great as always so nothing bad about pulling them as well!

Prize F (27 pieces)

Design: 2 long. 4 small.

Distribution: 3 x 5 pieces. 3 x 4 pieces.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

We now come to one of the dreadful part of the prizes: Towels… The long towels are not bad. The small towels are not consistent, some are better than others, so the poorer design probably get picked last. You can use the long towels are small picnic sheet or table cloth.

Prize G (20 pieces)

Design: 10

Distribution: 10 x 2 pieces each. Blind Box.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

The charms looks good here. It’s a rubber charm with metal ring. The design is very simple, featuring the Pokemon and their Japanese name on it. Some of the Pokemon don’t appear that often for charm designs too! I doubt you will feel very bad for pulling these as well.

Last Prize

Top Prize Appearance: 19th!

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This Eevee looks too adorable for me to ignore it. This version is also exclusive to this set’s last prize if you really want it, you will need to buy out. You can aim for a 8- buyout or 15- if there’s at least 1 other Plush and 1 tote bag left

Conclusion

This set like many Pokemon set is very plush heavy, all the top prizes are plush. The difference here is that there are some great small prizes like tote bags, plates and cups. Still, it’s very fitting to the picnic theme, just hope there were more non-plush picnic related top prizes!

Recommendation

5 tickets for a chance to get a top prize!

Collectibles? : Yamper Plush for collectors. The 3 small plush looks cute to collect too, mainly for their drawstring bag!
