Prize A (3 pieces) / Double Chance

Top Prize Appearance: 4th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Eva units are always the prizes to look out for in their Kuji set. Eva Unit 01 Awakening kicks start the set by looking absolutely gorgeous. It is also the only Eva Unit figure in the set, which makes it so much more valuable. The lucky thing is that there are 3 pieces of it in the set so more people can get their hands on this amazing piece.

It’s also the Awaken version so differs from previous ones.

If you are unable to pull him, you can hope for a double chance win as well.

Prize B (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 16th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Asuka is next and she looks okay, I don’t ever think that the human characters were ever bad but the fact that the Eva unit is so much more popular can make them look really underwhelm, It’s a figure nevertheless.

Prize C (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 11th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Rei is a good looking figure as well. She appears a bit too often which is why she might not be a valuable piece, but again, it’s a figure after all.

Prize D (3 pieces)

Prize D (2 pieces)

Top Prize Appearance: 5th

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Kaworu don’t’ appear that often so it’s a treat to see him again. That being said, the face sculpt in this figure is a bit pale, He previous figures were better. Such a waste for a rare character.

Prize E (8 pieces)

Design: 4

Distribution: 4x 2 pieces each. Blind box.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

There are actually more figures in the set than mugs, and that’s a good thing. They do act as a good consolation prize if you didn’t get any figures and worth your ticket cost. The designs look awesome as well!

Prize F (15 pieces)

Design: 5

Distribution: 5 x 3 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Notebook ain’t so bad, I mean for starter it’s bind style and it does look good for a notebook. It’s actually one of the better notebooks that you will get from Kuji and for the price you paid I feel that it’s at least justifiable.

Prize G (20 pieces)

Design: 10

Distribution: 10 x 2 pieces each. Blind box.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Next will be mini plates, by now, especially for long time Kuji fans, you will be receiving tons of plates so you know that the plates are more for display than being use. That being said, the designs are appealing, the monotone sketch is from the manga and feels elegant. For a small prize it doesn’t make you feel that bad when you pulled it.

Prize H (27 pieces)

Design: 10

Distribution: 7 x 3 pieces each. 3 x 2 pieces each.

Prize Rating:

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Folder set are probably used more for display than actually using it and the designs this time round feels a little bit lackluster. It’s too simple both the art and the colors, doesn’t really feel attracted to it. It does comes with 2 folders per prize.

Last Prize

Prize Rating:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

It is Asuka once again but she has a different pose compared to prize B. Will be great if the last prize is an Eva unit, still if you want this figure, do look out for a 8- buyout or 15- with at least 1 figure or 25– with A in it.

Grading

Big Prize

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Small Prize

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Last Prize

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Variety of Prize

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Odds of big prizes

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Value for Money

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Collector’s Value

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Overall: C+

Conclusion

Evangelion set is always tricky, because mainly everyone is into the Eva Units and the other prizes are always overlooked. That being said, it’s not a bad set, seeing worse Kuji set in the past, this is really decent.

Recommendation

5 tickets for a chance to get A, if not at least a figure.

Collectibles? : The A is the only thing worth keeping, the other characters will be released in the future, so if you are into Evangelion collection, that’s the only thing to lookout for.
